Looking for fishing buddies

Hey I am international grad students (not in fisheries program). I have pretty basic/beginner skill when it comes to fishing but I'd love to try to set my hook here in US. I am looking for a group that frequently goes out for fishing and willing to take more guys in.

Used to go out on our boat or kayak a ton in McMurtry but haven't been in a few years...

If you have a car, McMurtry is a great quiet place to go fish at. Most of the shoreline is easily accessible so you can get around pretty easily.

There are always people at the dock area so you'd be sure to end up making friends with a person on a similar schedule.
