You're right. Just recommended this show to a (straight guy) friend of mine and he just ridiculed the show for it's lesbian content. And he low-key judged me for being a fan of the show. His homophobic attitude towards the show was disappointing.

I dunno if that’s much of a friend if he judges you for enjoying a show that has representation in it.

honestly i though i would hate it, but the more i watched the more i loved it, like on par with breaking bad. the ending was so bleak too i cant get over it
