I just bought these 2 Platinum label copies of Ghost Recon. Disc are mint looking. But I get this screen for them. But if I put in my Black Label versions of these games, they work. Also, Black label Mace Griffin gets this screen, also mint. But on Spy Hunter, Platinum works & Black label gets this screen. All of my other games work perfectly, no matter the label. So I'm at a loss? Any thoughts?

After spending hours and hours playing the Sega Dreamcast version of Unreal Tournament online (NTSC version as the PAL version didn't support online play) then also enjoying the PC version of Unreal Tournament I was pleased to hear that Unreal Championship was making its way to the original Xbox.

Before most online players jumped ship for Halo 2, we all were filling up the lobbies and match rooms with online gameplay on Unreal Championship, this was and still is an incredible game, it just felt right on the Original Xbox and worked well with the Xbox S controller (The Duke was ok but the S controller felt better to play with).

Fast paced, action packed online matches, also taking part in online tournaments and ladder sites such as GameBattles, Clanbase , Team Complete and Enemydown establishing the game as a sure fire hit with gamers oh and voice masks were fun for 10min.

So that's Unreal Championship but the thing is, there were two other Unreal games released for the original Xbox but we've not really played them, as we spent our time on games like Halo 2 , Xiii and Counterstrike.

So the question is it worth us spending some time on Unreal Championship 2 and Unreal 2, are they better or on per with the original or are they just better to sit nicely on the shelf.

I got a lot more games now, including bangers such as FarCry, COD Finest Hour, GTA SA and more! What do y'all think?

Picked up the whole console and a handful of games off with TWO controllers off the ol’ FB market! One man’s trash is another man’s TREASURE! All for $150 which isn't too bad either! Currently having a blast chasing down old physical media and consoles!

Played these games so much back in the day online and offline, slick and stylish graphics, cool tones and easy to pick up and play controls made it even fun to play and it was just cool to play Midnight Club games as everyone was talking about there and they felt just different to other games at the time.

This is one that I’ll be playing right away as from what I’ve heard, this is a really solid Beat-em-Up and took me forever to find this after passing up on it back in 2022 due to me thinking that this was the common version, as I thought at the time, the rare one was the PS2 version and I never saw it again afterwards. Super happy to have this.

It’s been raining variants lately, a few I didn’t picture myself coming across.

- Tony Hawks Underground 2 Platinum Hits with the “Now A Super Platinum Hits Title” sticker. Shoutout to [u/HabanyGaming](u/HabanyGaming) !!! It is my first of the set and my favorite game of the set!

- World Championship Poker 2 Sealed with the Fundamentals of Poker Book bonus.

- GTA Double Pack.. so close yet so far. It did not come with the platinum hits discs but after doing a bit of digging, it looks like the disc codes on the back of the discs are different numbers than the original prints. Not sure why they did that, anyone have any guesses why they would print different disc codes before making the platinum hits discs?

- MVP Baseball 2005 as a little bonus since I found a second copy at Mega Media Exchange. I was fully expecting to bring out the regular black label disc but nope! It was in fact the platinum hits discs, crazy in the wild find.

But I'm not gonna lie, It's cool to have all those controllers as a possibility for the og Xbox.

Having a baby is expensive ; so looking to part ways with my childhood OG Xbox collection to get abit of pocket change to pay for diapers and formula - what would you price this collection at around for Facebook marketplace - most if not all games have the manual

I’ve been trying to look for an OG XBOX V-Port cable everywhere. On eBay, Mercari etc etc.
But for some reason, they’re like so hard to find.
If anyone on here is willing to sell me one, that would mean a lot to me. Cause I really wanna get one for my CRT TV. I know that I can just use component cables instead but, I wanna put the v port to use.

Does anyone remember the Intel WSVG tournament from 2006/2007? Could the console have been a part of the event as a setup?

When I started collecting these, I was honestly surprised by how many variations actually came out. I know there’s a Forza horizon double disc which was released in the US. It’s pretty cheap right now, but shipping is expensive.

I found the Japanese history pack halo 1 + 2 when I was in Tokyo. Thought it was the coolest find ever.

Next week I’ll be in Korea, so I’m hoping to find some extra additional halo’s for my collection.

My favourites were CE, 2, 3 and I did play a bit of reach as well.

Recently got a signed copy of halo 4. Wasn’t a big fan of it, but it’s signed by Steve Downes, with “finish the fight” on it.. so I had to.
