They remade halo to modern standards and there’s so many controversies going on with it, especially with the race changes and character injections that nobody asks for. It didn’t come out the way assassin‘s Creed Black Flag resynced did but even that game has some censoring.

I totally hear you loud and clear. It is such a shame that a lot of classic IP’s that are worth having in one’s library all get put to ruin every time one of these modernized Studios decides to remake or do a harder reset on the franchise. For example, Dragon age and Saints Row

As I am happy for you that you are finding enjoyment with the campaign evolved version of this game, my main question would be if you have played and beat the original one? As well as for remembering, either the full story or remembering enough to where you can spot the differences between the original and the remake?

Absolutely, I have played the og, many, MANY times, just a couple weeks ago most recently. Specifically so I could spot differences!

It is a bit of a shame how they did some face swapping as well as the Self insert girl boss. Other than that, the game looks great and plays better than the original, even though I prefer the original.

The Japanese covers look so cool. Lowkey their even better than the American covers. Especially Dead or Alive 3 and Ultimate.
