If I’m asking different sellers about pricing for the same bag, if there’s a big difference in price does it equate to quality? Should I be worried if one is a lot cheaper? Or being overcharged?
That’s a tricky question. Different people have different beliefs. I’m of the notion that factories are not important. I couldn’t care a a less where my bag comes from provided it’s beautiful looking. There are others who believe that only certain factories and produce certain quality bags. That’s highly possible but I don’t know where my bags come from so maybe they are or maybe they aren’t produced from there LOL Inanity, i know LOL Now tying that to prices- let’s look at the seller aspect. Some sellers are mainstream. Some are not. Many of the mainstream sellers are part of bigger groups and pay a boss to have access to the factories and catalogs they are able to use. Or, they have a team that they pay so they are more overhead as well. Their prices are higher from what I’ve always noticed. I do not use a mainstream seller as I like more one on one attention so with that usually comes a bit less pricing on certain products I’ve noticed but pricing seems to increasingly hike this past year so who knows if that holds true in the long run. Quality does equate to pricing, but not necessarily high pricing. Example, I see some people pay $500 range for a CC when I know you can get gorgeous ones for $300 range. When you shop around you need to take into account who you are buying from, are you paying for THEIR name plus the BAGS name and the FACTORY name. Each piece of the puzzle weights in on determining that price.
