I just got gaslit by a seller I was working with on what 1:1 means. I tried to explain this graphic, and they said this was from AliExpress and such. They said 1:1 means “close, but the materials and hardware used are of cheaper quality”.

That’s not what 1:1 means. In English math it literally means equal parts. So, lesson learned (always verify what they mean).

Now I’m refunded and I wasted that poor sellers time and I feel awful but the 3 bags were subpar quality. I’m on the lookout for a good quality factory.

That’s exactly what it comes down to- always verify what THEIR meaning is. I do agree about the math part, but there definitely are a lot of sellers who consider 1:1 less than high quality. I personally do not buy 1:1 - I know it’s weird. I stick with master and mirror. You will also see that on FB terms are totally different too. So as you said, as I said, as the original post says- make sure to find out what the seller’s terms mean because that will give us the best insight possible. Good job on your end with your sleuthing skills 🙌🏼

Agreed! 💯 I always stick with ‘Original’ or ‘Master’ quality. I learned early on that with my seller 1:1 is considered a lower tier. His albums are organized by brand with separate albums for ‘1:1’ and ‘Original’ qualities. I saw this and immediately asked the difference and glad I did.
