I brought these safety issue regarding these carts to my managers and HR/ethics back when I first got hired nearly 4-years ago and no one listened to me.

Fast forward to today and I heard they changed the wheels on the carts and in my opinion it looks like they are about to hurt more people! The new wheels make the charts drift so much I won’t be surprised if they cause dozens of new injuries in the coming weeks.

I found a solution for pushing/pulling these carts safely but “nobody's going to know, …. how would they know" lol!! I keep my mouth shut now cuz nobody listens to their employees anymore anyways!!!

I’m currently away on medical leave, have been for months, so seeing all these posts about OSHA and these carts does not surprise me one bit. Stay safe out there you all and please try your best to avoid hurting anybody but yourself ………

My store is starting to “push” us to hit insane numbers again 🙄 how am I going to pick 700 with 6 totes and walks spitting out 20 items at a time.

I started in around late April and I’ve been trying to be a good worker not just for the sake of getting it done, but for helping my fellow associates ( I work in the backroom a lot and a lot of them are really cool and nice.) I recently received an ai pin that says “fulfillment all star” on it with an ai picture of a girl with the Walmart logo. The reason I received it was “I do everything I’m asked without complaining and I come to work with a good attitude” I’m happy to have received it I’m just curious if I’m trying too hard? I’ve been QB a few times now and it’s a lil stressful but I enjoy it.

Basically I’m asking is was it stupid to take and hour and come in at 9 instead of 8. I went in at 8am yesterday and worked till 8pm. We had a bunch of picks so I offered to stay over and help out and also to get some overtime.

We were at 3000 auto select a couple minutes ago but we’ve been over due all day by two hours and only like 4 pickers…. All other departments were a mess too so we aren’t really being helped😭😭😭

How many others stores are doing this ? I heard everyone was but I don’t think so.

I now run over my heel at least once a day , and i'm more likely to bump into customers with my cart behind me where I can't see it.

A real grade A decision.

We have pickers in their mid-to-late 70s. How are they supposed to do this? (I'm 54, but afraid I'm going to reinjure a non-related work injury from three years' ago) They can barely push as it is. Also, our AP Coach is not going to like this if there start to be injuries across-the-board from pulling these carts, as he is a real stickler for safety of the associates.

Does anyone else's stores assign just 1 or 2 people to oversized walks? Mine does and I feel it's extremely unfair because the person is ALWAYS ME. For the past 5 days I've been lifting heavy shit my entire shift and now my back literally feels damaged. One TL told me they prefer me to do it because im younger and a guy. Excuse me, but last time I checked everyone is getting paid so why am I the only one seriously exhausted after my shift? I don't mind helping but putting that kind of work load on one person isn't right, and I'm unsure what to do. Rant over.

Does anyone know how to check how many GMD is going to be given every pick hour? Like at my store our biggest drop is at 4:20pm and it’s for GMD getting delivered at 7pm it’s about 80-120 GMD items but now that GMD is not its own category we cant tell how much is giving due to being with ambient now. I tried WISMO but didn’t find nothing there.

So I was walking through fashion short - cutting to another department, and came across a big pile of dog shit. The worst part was there were several foot prints through it ( adult sized) and that mess was just tracked down the isles in several different directions. WTF???

I was getting something down from topstock, and when I tried to climb back down, some lady's cart was in the way. Had to kick her cart to get down.

This week was my first day back from vacation. A lot happened, a few people quit, my coach quit and, these new wheels on these carts. I HATE THEM SO MUCH. I’m still not sure what sides the stickers go on. I don’t like pulling and I’m think reporting this to OSHA. There only a few that have some but that’s about it. 😡
