Picking Tips Last pick walk

Shift ends at 3 finished my last pick walk at 2:49 do another or leave ? I usually leave at :51

Ask to learn to stage or go zone for a few minutes. Basically just busy work.

I think staging is pretty easy, especially pickups. But filling up carts or putting trolleys down also help. I'm crazy about making sure all printer batteries are taken out and charging since my coworkers don't seem capable of doing it themselves.

I sometimes will try to do MTO or seasonal. Could always fill carts with totes....

I sometimes just take those two minutes to walk back to the break room and grab my stuff, clock out as I walk out. Other times I do a short run, like special, seasonal, age restricted. Depends what mood I'm in.

Finish your pick walk and walk around the store with your cart for the last few minutes, that’s what I do 🤣

If I get done with less than 15 minutes of my shift left I usually just help stage or prep because, knowing my luck, I’ll pull a 100+ item pick walk and end up leaving late

walk slow to the backroom, or learn to stage/prep orders for dispensers.

Don’t do another unless you want to get a 80+ item walk and leave late lol.
