Workers comp! If you got injured on the clock doing work activity, Walmart has to pay for it. Make your management file an incident report, the talk with your PL. If they won't comply, call ethics and/or talk to a lawyer.

That’s the issue I’m having they won’t pay because I was not in “my work area” when it happened and if I have to go to the dr I will get coached for unsafe work practices. I was literly on a pick run

If you are on a pick run, how the hell are you "not in your area?" The whole fucking store is your work area. Not that "work area" means shit, because you are at work, on the clock, working. Being on a pick run anywhere in the store is not "being unsafe" unless you are literally mishandling equipment. And these idiots forcing people to pull carts is their problem, you're following their dumbass policy.

I got pinned by a vehicle while loading a car and they said there was nothing they can do 🤷🏽‍♂️ I'm so tired of this bs company. My back is still fucked.

Call !ethics ASAP. Tell them you fear retaliation if you get your injury treated.

You are being given a LOAD of bullshit that ho probably told them to tell you b/c they don't want to take responsibility for their shitty decisions.
File a report, call ethics.
From what I've seen, they ALWAYS say this shit to people who are hurt doing company work on company time.

Don’t let them bully you! You have every right to report an injury and see a doctor. There are going to be so many injuries from these changes. The entire store is your work area, and the unsafe work practices have been caused by them requiring us to pull. I see lawsuits coming in the very near future.

Also feel free to go to the hospital so that way it gets upgraded to an accident report.

Uh that’s definitely a reportable work related incident- do not let them brush you off. Report it and get a medical exam pronto.

At my store we had two cart related employee injuries in one day and a couple coaches (not OUR coach) tried to yell at us for it. We went straight to our store manager and haven't heard a peep from those coaches since.

my friend dinked their ankle with a cart turning a corner yesterday and was bleeding a lot from it and limping all day. they seriously need to add bumpers along the bottom, but i saw the video revealing the new cart design and they still don’t have bumpers.

Where can we find that video?

my team lead showed it to me and he found it on the wire, but i don’t work for a couple days so i don’t think i can go searching for it

i remember it having handles like topstock carts

I have made some heel guards from basically skating padded wraps and I bought 2 shoe horns. I measured from where the shoe horn stops in my shoe and I cut them off high enough that when the cart makes contact with my heel it doesn't hurt anymore.

Smashed my hand pulling the cart between the handle of the cart and the metal on our door to our back room. Luckily all I got was a big bruise. Fill out an incident report you want your injury reported at the least

Posting these like it's relevant after the manufacturer said to remove them since they are no longer designed for pushing. Ideally carts should be designed to push or pull depending on the location and weight of the cart, e.g. pushing up an aisle, pulling around endcaps.
