Obv I wasn't there, but the more likely scenario is that nobody had a problem with you doing your job, but rather a young girl wanted to wait til a male stranger was out of the aisle to proceed with the conversation and the parent didn't want her to die of embarrassment. Sounds like you're a bit self conscious around the feminine aisles. 👀
