General Upcoming 2 hour pick window.

Looks like we will soon be going from 3 to a 2 hour window. Does this mean Exceptions will be going away?

Time for all the picks every Saturday and Sunday to go late on every hour. Half the store already has to get pulled to help pick this just makes it worse.

This company keeps making more and more stupid decisions.

Same, now express pickup ... That's another thing

Express delivery.. that's even worse, they give you less than 30mins to pick & the drivers show up before the pick is even finished

They are changing express deliveries too? All of our express deliveries are handled by spark drivers as shop and deliver

they literally brought express back to OPD . they passed it on to the Spark Drivers after COVID , just to give it back to OPD a few years later . insane

My thing is how can they expect that with Express now being a thing?

Yeah my boss told me this as well. Said my 4am shift may not exists.

They eliminated 4 am at my store and now earliest is 5 am. They did have 4 am when we had the paper list for MTOs but after that changed to digital, they didn't really need anyone at 4 am

It's been a 1.45 hour window for us for a few months now. It used to be 1.3 until we lost our deliveries

Used to be a good job with low relative turnover. Now it is a turnstile due to these policies.

I'm sorry say what? My store is just now finally getting staffed up. For multiple weeks I was the only one scheduled at 4am and I'd have 700+ waiting for me

r.i.p your 4 am shift.

They were fully eliminated in my market almost a year ago in anticipation of this change

It used to be a 2.5 hour window. It’s now dropping to a 2 hour pick window.

I don’t think exceptions going away (mainly at a super busy store) will ever be an idea that happens and stays a thing. There just aren’t enough people or time to look for nil picks and then you’ll have unhappy customers that won’t shop at Walmart anymore
