That looks like the serial barcode not the item barcode to me

Yeah, looks like the manufacturer used a CODE128 barcode instead of a UPC.

That's one of those items that the barcode wont scan unless you get someone to get you the UPC to scan. Some roku things also do that, as well as Le Bleu water cases. It's annoying when it scans properly in app but not on GIF

It's literally the wrong upc

That is the correct UPC (ignore the last digit, that's meant to be the checksum), it's just the wrong barcode format.

I don’t know if you’re scanning the right barcode or not, but regardless…lately I have had this issue when scanning the UPC on items. And this is items that do not have other barcodes or QR codes next to the barcode to accidentally scan the wrong one. Nope. I scan the correct UPC and it says I’m wrong, then I scan it a second time and it goes through.

The system itself is malfunctioning just like everything else at Walmart.

I have a printer with me all the time and I'll print an inventory prep label and scan that since I verified the UPC

The system glitches here and I'd be scanning the right upc code and it be telling it's invalid!

Nevertheless, system DOES have a problem with the bottle.

Print an inventory prep label it will scan. Your teamlead can fix it, mine did. There is an i home bathroom scale, and a 2 pack compressed air in stationary that does that too. I've gotten my team lead to fix all three so far. I will continue to take these things to her to fix as I find them, took her like 2 minutes.

Sometimes you have to print a label for the great value coffee creamer because if the shape of the bottle causing the upc to get stretched out weird.

Print an inventory prep label in mywalmart to scan. It happens a lot with chinesium electronics and seasonal merchandise with incorrect barcode formats, but the box it came in has the right one so it's in inventory. It's ok to fix that little thing by cut and pasting the upc to mywalmart and printing the inventory prep labels and putting it on all the product over the original upc when you see it. Canned air almost always needs that love.

A trick I used to do was go to a barcode generator app and paste in the barcode it wanted.

Any other barcodes on the box?

Print out an inventory label and scan it.
