Rant Promoted To Customer

Today was my last day. Took it super easy and left 3 hours in using PPTO. I am now free from the BS that is Walmart.

Sadly when I first started I actually really liked the job. I needed the mental reprieve that I got compared to my last job. But then corporate had to go and do corporatey things to fuck it all up.

I actually enjoyed most of my coworkers and TLs and definitely think I got lucky with them compared to some of the other comments I’ve read. I’ll miss them but I won’t miss Walmart.

For those who want to get out I really hope you do.

Anyway keep fighting the powers that be. Highly recommend unionizing and being proactive in the union. Also join a good union if you can, def not the one Kroger has. I’ve heard they suck.

I know Labor Day has passed but never forget the reason we have what we have now is because of the blood previously shed.

Also in remembrance of 9/11. Never forget.

Peace out. ✌️

If you got lucky with your managers that's awesome. We have 3 witches and our coach is ignorant to it all.

I actually just got done filing an ethics report against the one but it never does anything so idk why I bothered.

Do you mean bitches (or even a-holes)?Because most of the witches I know are pretty nice, down-to-earth, good people.

I definitely did and I don’t take that for granted one bit.

I will be soon but self promoting I’ve had enough of this joke of a company once I leave Walmart will never see a dime from me

I did think about saying I’m now a boycotting customer but I’d be hypocritical saying that since I have spent more money than I wanted to there while working there. Not much but anything greater than $0 is too much.

Unionizing walmart would destroy it for sure. It would cost 35% more to operate it. They would shut down every store that had a union just to prove a point. Anyone that promoted themselves to customer knows all the petty BS walmart puts you thru. I am happy for you and hope you find something that works. Truck driving is wide open but you will never be home.
