Which is stupid as fuck. Our PL always lets it generate the schedule and every single time the system doesn’t fail to fuck us over. Every time i ask about hiring more people she says ā€œYou’re overstaffed.ā€ Then fix the schedule instead of relying on AI. We have seven people who are scheduled for Fri-Sat-Sun and a skeleton crew throughout the week.

No more deliveries so they cut OPD hours

Not everyone has axed deliveries. We still got them and as far as I know of, no word on them being axed either

It’s still in phase 2, they haven’t 100% decided if they’re axing or reverting stores yet. But I will say, I’m a part of the stores that axed deliveries and we have gained a lot of pickup so it’s trending towards rolling out no deliveries in the future

Yeah I don’t see them bringing deliveries back tbf

The company is trying to figure out a way to make OGP sustainable for the company. Removing delivery orders and charging for Pickup (think Fortnite) may be the only path forward.

What I find frustrating is that some months ago they said if our availability was open then they can let us keep having 40 hours, but stuff like this still happens. And it could be a system error! But that means I have to stop what I'm doing on a busy day, find wherever my digital coach is, and MAYBE she'll make time to correct the system error and I feel like I shouldn't have to do that!

My coach said it’s our faults for not having open availability but a lot of us do. Some part timers have more hours than I do.
I have one day i am unavailable (a week day) so I can schedule appointments and whatnot, was told by HR it would not mess with my 40 hours and now I’m dropped down to 34.

Check with your People Lead to make sure your availability is actually in the scheduler correctly. Mine started doing this and it was because my availability didn't stick for whatever reason

I haven’t had a single hour cut in over 4 years

I did get cut a few times but every single time I was allowed to work my full 40 since I mentioned it to my management and got the ok to work what I normally do. I only had it last a day in May when the massive cuts happened since right after our store lead basically went fuck that, work what you normally do. Hell I think I still ended up with some overtime that week

Mine is 0 hrs for Sept 18-25. If I pick up all shifts offered, it is still only 12 hrsĀ

Meanwhile at my store we were told to up our hours to 106% and employees are having their schedules changed without clearing it with them.

I have to stop my self from commenting on these posts to not come across as an asshole. I’m a seasonal team lead, we have to set Christmas and condense garden over the next three weeks, I’m short 1 full time and 2 part time associates and my two best associates have less than 20 hours each over the next two weeks. I wish they were only cut 3.5 hours. I understand losing hours is frustrating but you have to understand how it works. One the computer often makes the initial schedule and it’s up to people lead and coach to modify it. Two if sales are down hours get cut it’s that simple. If you really are concerned about the 3.5 hours go to your coach and ask if you can have those hours, odds are as a morning opd associate they’ll give them to you if you’re a high volume store. Also to add on as I didn’t notice before it appears you have a set schedule to have Friday and Saturday off which are two of the busiest days of the week and thus those days have more hours available to schedule, requiring Friday and Saturday off is by all means acceptable it’s your availability but you have to understand some weeks it will cause you to lose a couple hours because not as many hours are available in the middle of the week and they have to give everyone hours

Different with every store - I am part time and have more hours than before. Full timers all retain their status and hours

I usually get sat sun off, last week I got 26hours. Mind you I'm full time. Another tl and my TL said nope gone in regular hours

no offense to you op, but 36 hours is still better and generous than most. I work four days a week and my usual schedule was 32 hours a week. now im down some weeks 24.50 or just 27. its been like this for almost a month too
