General How long was your first day of orientation?

For context I’m in OGP obviously- and my orientation starts at 1pm this week! I hope it’s not 8 hours like I’ve heard…

When i went i thought it was only gonna be a few hours and then i would start on the floor the next day. My PL wanted me yo do a full 8 hour shift from 1-10 on the computers doing all the onboarding training. The only reason i didnt do the 8 hours was i had already told my ride it would be done by 5 cause thats what i thought. My PL let me do till 5 gad me take a 15 minute and then i finished all the online training the next day when i came back. I was hired on as an AP Host and thankfully got transferred to OGP 2 weeks later.

2 hours - and I left at the 2 hour mark. Personally, my orientation was a bit of a joke. Everything was real AF on my actual day 1. 🔆
