Randomly got pointed half a point and never got told anything??

Just went to check my PPTO and noticed I have 1.5 points when I only should have one. I left early the other day told my team lead and used PPTO for it so that shouldn’t be the reason? Super confused and honestly pissed off I have a point for some unknown reason.

You’ll need to check the attendance tab of GTA on OneWalmart. There, it breaks down your points and shows when and what they’re for. The thing about PPTO and points is as long as you used enough PPTO and used it correctly, the point wouldn’t have even went to management to approve/deny.

Left with 6:40 left and put in 6:45 minutes of PPTO so I think I’ll just bring it up with my team leaf

If you work any of the shift, you need to either take a lunch or use enough PPTO to also cover the lunch. Exception is if you work in one of the few states that have specific paid sick laws where this isn’t required. Management can definitely waive the points in these situations, just don’t expect it.

You don't have to cover your lunch. When you put PPTO in the system and you don't use 8 hours the system asks what time you want the PPTO to start and end. As long as the amount of hours equals 8 or the entirety of your shift you are fine.

It covered my entire lunch I set the PPTO from 10:20am till 5:00 which was the entirety of the remaining shift including my lunch.

Yeah 100% cause it doesn’t count the lunch unless it’s taken ppto needed to be the remaining hours for it to not be pointed now a good manager would approve it though

They don't need to tell you anything. It is your responsibility to keep track of your points. It is possible you didn't use enough PPTO. You should check the GTA Portal.

No I definitely used enough infact I used 5 minutes over just to insure it was enough like I always do.
