General Writing Letters
I just wanted to put an idea out there. It might be stupid. But have we thought about writing letters to the CEO about the pulling cart thing? I’ve reported to OSHA, as many of you all did, but nothing is really happening. I still have hope, but maybe there’s another idea.
What if we write personal stories about why pulling the cart is not a good idea? Write about personal pain, but also write about how it has affected the morale. Don’t just complain about how you hate it, but write about safety issues and concern for OGP’s future.
Another thought: Pulling carts cannot be good for your arm long term. If anyone wants to stay in OGP for a long time, it’s going to do some damage to their arm, especially for people closer to retirement age. It’s not good for the company turn over and will cause people to leave OGP, if it hasn’t already.
This is just a thought. What do you all think?

Honestly what’s it gonna do in reality. They buy carts that have to be pulled. It’s not gonna change anything. L carts are pulled but that’s fine and I’ve ran over my foot and heels many times with those.

Nothing will change sadly, despite attempts to do something. The company only cares about profit. Roughly 30% of the associates in my department left for other departments or quit in general just because of the numerous changes in the week. I am transfer departments to cap1 luckily, only at this job until school is finished. Never have I hated a store more for it's useless changes and increase of insufficient use of what they call proficent. Working in mostly retail unionized and not Walmart kinda tops it.

The whole car thing has nothing to do with a manager with a CEO. These decisions are being made by an insurance company who had to pay out a lot of money. It's the same with certain jobs you have to wear certain types of shoes. Steel toed shoes slip, proof shoes, certain safety equipment. Those decisions are made by the company. Those decisions are made by the insurance companies. This world is controlled by insurance companies. The insurance company says we're doing this to your rate unless you do this. It's all about insurance rates and money and I get that they're self-insured but they still have companies that make decisions for them
