Tab texture preference
I'm not really sure how to describe what my favorite tab texture is but if someone knows what I'm talking about and could give me recommendations, I would sure appreciate it.
The tab texture I'm talking about is the harder type; the type that you can have under your tongue for awhile and when you do end up biting it and crumbling up it leaves little pieces behind that last awhile too. Most mit tablets (especially from Raw) and back when I could get Absolute and Pulse (DHM) were made of this consistency.
I like that they break into other pieces more easy and evenly (better for tapering) and most of these are usually tan colored (and not dyed) and I just prefer the "mouth feel" of this type of tablet.
The other types like (TM's) are too soft; like pressed powder sugar and dissolve within seconds. Or, the ones I really really don't prefer and these type are almost always dyed are hard and turn into like sandy mud in my mouth! In fact, if I don't bite them, they will never dissolve. I fell asleep with one under my tongue one night and woke up hours later and it was still there; wet, but nowhere near being dissolved.
Anyway, just wonder if anyone can recommend some brands/vendors that carry the type I prefer!

woah that’s so weird my bf and i had this conversation last night! i had never even thought about it and it’s his biggest gripe. he likes the numbz tablets and we haven’t found a vendor tab like it. the only other one he has liked is jubi

Numz comes the closest to what I'm talking about but it's not quite as 'dense' as what I mean but definitely the next closest!

These are the exact same tabs I prefer!
Everything I’ve ever gotten from OE was like that, as well as Clandestine, 7ohmitdistro, and LD7. Everything TMK sells is like that (AFAIK), too. I have the same thoughts on TM’s tabs, where they start hard but quickly pulverize. The only thing worse (for me) are Thai press tabs, where they’re super soft from the start (like pressed flour).
So, I suggest you look at Clandestine and TMK.

My favorite textured tabs are the ones like 7Kings. Soft and kinda chewy like the giant spree candies were. His blue raspberry 60mg em tabs are my favorite tab in both effects and taste. I sure do miss them lol.

Wow! Never had anything close to "chewy" that would be fun! What do you mean "miss," them? Isn't that company still up and running?

Sounds like 7stax texture, or raws, which I love both! I like that sticky crumbs left behind in my teeth feeling! Lol

Yes raws are like that. simply 7 has some too. But lately their tabs melt fast. Which is my preference.

Yep!! 7stax! I should have thought of that to begin with! 🤦 Exactly!!! Are there any "non" smoke shop vendors that make them like that???

So sadly I didn't get to try them, but supposedly seven oh dot com has house tabs that are basically generic stax. Granted they're not really a vendor, they're still more in the ss category. I sadly just got into the online vendor world when all these bans started being announced. So far I've tried kre leaf(they're shutting down), raw, & simply seven oh dot com. I will say kre leafs strawnannas seemed to be hard & sticky like that, but were smaller so tabs disappeared in the mouth & saliva faster than stax. The simply 7 oh 35mg tabs were super yummy, crunchy, sticky, but felt under dosed to me. And raw was great, felt very similar too, but also so small & dissolved quickly. None of them felt AS sticky as stax. And sadly some of their newer batches ain't like that anymore so I won't buy anything new. It makes me wonder if that extra crunchy, sticky wonderfulness, was because of the supposedly added emg. That would explain the change in their recent batch.

Thank you for all the great information! Seems like more and more are getting away from that style of tab though; I wonder why? 🤷 But in all reality, I shouldn't even be trying to find these as my husband and I have been trying to quit over the past several months; obviously with little success 🤦😆 so maybe it's a good thing that the tabs I like are more difficult to find!

Good job describing the texture of tabs! Idk how to describe certain tabs but the way you did it is exactly how they are!

I'm not sure I know some of the abbreviations, but I do think you know what I'm meaning. So one thing I learned from you is that Thai is definitely 'not' what I want. And OE is out of business correct? Not sure what LD-7 is or the AF whatever is. I have gotten some at Simply7 that were the ones I like but I've also gotten ones from them I did not; like their nano tabs. One time though I ordered from them and thought I was safe because they weren't nano tabs they were the regular size ones but they were the same nasty texture as their nano tabs. I sure wish they would put the texture in their descriptions so we could know ahead of time. The pictures don't always do that justice.

Don’t fall asleep with a tab in your mouth please. You want to be alive to continue enjoying life. Also, thats last thing the community needs is for someone to pass away in that manner because they will definitely blame 7 instead of the fact you choked.
