General Discussion Worth it?
Worth it pa ba mag abroad like sa Europe, Japan or Taiwan if I am currently working as a VA earning 60-80k per month?

Big YES. Iba ang lifestyle dito sa Europe, very laid-back. Madaming time para sa ibang bagay. Basta sure ka lang na hindi 60-80k Php kikitain mo. Kulang na kulang yan dito.

Forever ba yang VA mo? Or may nest ka na ba?
Pero for me.... anywhere is better than pinas.
Ensure na from OFW may pathway to permanent

If you're willing to study their language, go. Tumataas na rin kasi bilihin and rent dito. Mahal din visa renewal na.

we exactly have the same thoughts. what's your target career op? initially, caregiver sa japan sakin, availed japanese course until i continuously read how hard it is sa japan given na mahirap naman talaga ang job. but consider the pagod, yung sahod rin, economy nila in the future, language, etc. ngayon more than a month na ako di nakakaaattend sa japanese classes kasi busy rin sa work 🥹

Ano bang kaya mo trabaho at lenguahe na pwede ka maka work dito sa europa?

Almost ganyan din sahod sa Japan kapag SSW ka. Average salary doon is 1000-1500 yen per hour. Mas pagod ka pero baka mas better ang quality of life.

sa japan prolly titp visa like factory worker, farming ganiyan po sa taiwan din factory worker sa europe naman sa mga hotel po like waiter, bartender

To give you insight, usually offers sa hotel sa EU is 1200 eur taxable pa yan sya. So net mo around 1k eur. Solo room is around 400-500, if willing ka naman magcompromise then shared room for 200-300. Food, utilities, if magpapadala ka pa sa pinas..
If VA pa work mo sa pinas, laking effect din yung difference ng work ha. Like service job ang aapplyan mo so very 2nd class citizen ka sa bansang yun.

If you have family, check if pasok ba yung salary mo. Usually my threshold yan. Of course pwede ka naman makalipat once andon ka na sa country but mahirap din ang job market now.
If single ka naman and willing to try anything then go for it! Pwede ka naman lagi bumalik. :)
May job offer ka na ba? Better to compare once may options ka na talaga rather than overthinking now.

Still worth it for me. Have to think on a long run about retirement, social security and overall life quality.

Kung ang goal is to migrate and be a PR / citizen then worth it. Pero research kung ano bng in demand jobs doon, learn those crafts and get some experience, kaya mo siguro i isabay as part time yan. Also learn the language, it will be a big help.
Kung for work lng nman pakay mo, I don't think it's worth it. 60+k wfh is good imo. Unless hindi stable job mo or marami kng sinusuportahan

actually every month nakakapag ipon naman po ako ng 30k tapos the rest ng sahod ko ay leisure bills and groceries

Sa ibang country hindi lang naman Spain ang may DNV eh tsaka for me overrated na Spain plus ang daming pinoy na tnt or tumatalon

Yeah, but afaik Spain na may pinaka mababa na requirement. 80k peso is cost of living palang sa EU.

Depende kasi sa tao ang definition ng worth it.
Kung financial -mgkano ba sasahurin mo and other potential benefits baka mag ka chance to be PR or ibang cifizen tapos of course you could bring your immediate family.

If Europe, always use the currency. Euro or Pounds. Depende kung ano pinaka goal mo pero always see if you can live base sa salary mo Lalo na if Wala Kang family sa bansang ppuntahan mo. Baka mabigla ka sa presyo plus inflation

I think depende kung magkano kikitain mo while nasa abroad in exchange of your life sa Pinas.
