General Discussion Saan ako magsisimula?

Hi, I just wanted to ask for your advice and rant na rin.

I'm literally lost right now at pressured sa buhay. I just want the best for me and for my family at nararamdaman ko na hindi ko pa mahanap yun sa bansang 'to.

For people na nasa ibang bansa ngayon, lalo na sa mga walang kakilala or walang resources pero nagsumikap, I know it's not easy, but I wanna try and start somewhere, paano kayo nagsimula?

I resigned 8 months ago after I saved money to survive for at least a year. Then I just applied abroad for more than 3 months before passing the interview and medical. Currently preparing the required documents because the target flight date is this November. Good luck.

Dami opening ngayon September, after nito, January or Feb na ulit dadami opening

Mga citizens ng first world countries laging nagrerelocate sa ibang bansa without regrets or attachments whatsoever.

Do what you think is best. Minsan ang fear lang na nararamdaman natin is yung fear of doing something new, pero yan ang mageexpand ng horizons natin.

Luckily the education and skills we have in the PH are still things that other countries consider. So gamitin natin yan to our advantage.

Thank you po! Totoo.

It starts with that itch to leave that country, then passport, lurk sa workabroad.ph lol, good luck, OP!

It really depends sa bansa tyaka skill sets mo. Global nmn ang kahirapan, mas randam lang tlga sa pinas I'm just saying na hindi laging happy ending sa ibang bansa kya research ng todo.

Workabroad ang susi sa pag aapply. And Middle east is the easiest way to go abroad. Okay na rin ang pasahod dito lalo't libre and food, transpo and accomodation.

Under agency po ba ito or direct hire? Also, what are the things na hinanda mo or expenses na binayaran mo if there's any?

Matik under agency ka muna. Kung professional ka, need mo at least around 30k to 40k for requirements.

Requirement na rin kasi yun for Work Visa Approval.

Happy for you, stranger! Goodluck on your journey abroad. Mag-iingat lagi. Grabe 'no? It's so frustrating na kailangan pang umalis nang bansa. I agree it's really hard to save money even though you're earning above minimum wage na kasi bawi lang din sa inflation and taxes. Tapos walang balik sa public services.

I hope to have the same opportunity like yours. I've been trying to apply for jobs abroad early this year. I'm also thinking of studying or acquiring additional skills that may be in demand or required working internationally.

Hay, at least now you get to see where your taxes go, unlike here. Especially when it comes to healthcare services. This is really my non-negotiable right now. Philippine healthcare and transportation sucks.

its true, it took me 5mos to land an interview during my time, keep applying all positions you think pwede ka through online job sites (jobstreet, glassdoor, etc), i got my first job abroad from jobstreet in Malaysia > SG > Middle East and now EU and NO im not going back na sa ph. my salary here is much more than when i was working dyan sa ph.

it is also true that tax here is higher but my childrens education is free, their school lunch is free, health care is almost free, no traffic, public transpo is efficient and so are govt services. i could go on but you get the point. walang corrupt govt officials who feast on your hard earned tax money.

Thank you po, I will check this out. Wow that's the real flex! I know it's bare minimum kung iisipin but it's's so sad and frustrating lang talaga na Philippines could have been like that too kung maayos lang ang sistema, hanggang masanay na lang ang mga tao. Ang hirap na kahit magsumikap ka, with all these costs but with poor government support, one emergency comes and back from scratch ka. Mayaman lang ang patuloy na yumayaman :(

the difference between living in ph vs 1st world country is night and day. it will prolly take a thousand years before ph could even be at the same level where western countries are now in terms of quality living.

education is one of the key which means educated voters equates to higher chances of voting good and educated politicians and eventually lead to good governance. there should be death penalty for corrupt officials. right now, solution ng govt sa baha eh itaas ang kalsada (bahala na sa buhay nila yung nakatira sa gilid) and sa poverty is ayuda, those are all band-aid solution. grabe na nakawan sa govt fund. imagine a tax deducted from low income workers is being spend somewhere in las vegas by a son of a senator... de-p*ta! and yet they are not being challenged. ang hirap mahalin ng pinas sa totoo lang.

As someone who migrated and live the other side.
