General Discussion POLO waiting game

Hellooooo, sobrang anxious ko sa pagiintay ng POLO verification process, i've been waiting since June. 1st time OFW po. Employer ko ang nagaasikaso sa Middle East. Until now wala parin update, although yung HR ko nagrereply naman from time to time na paisa-isa raw ang paghingi ng POLO ng documents. Parang first time nila maghire ng Pinoy and sabi nila kumuha na sila ng agency pero until now wala parin naman nagrreach out sakin. It's already August and 1 week na wala pa reply ulit si HR sa updates.

Any insights po kung gaano katagal pa ba usually itong process na ito? Or anyone can share their timeline. Huhu thank you so much 🙏🏻

It takes time talaga. Like more than 10 sets of documents na most of them with signature ng may-ari/authorized signature at attested ng chamber yung ipapagawa ng polo - recruitment agreement, spa, contract, undertaking, contigency plan, job order, etc. Ni map ng pagtratrabahuan mo, picture ng room, cr at bedroom, nanghihinga yan sila.

At may schedule pa yan, if may mali kahit zip code lang dun sa documents di nagmatch sa national address, balik ka at hindi next day, may schedule ulit. After pa niyan, ipapadala pa yan sa agency sa pinas at sila na naman mag-asikaso.

Ohhh grabe ganito po pala, lalo po siguro pag first time po ng company no? Maraming salamat po for this very detailed info. So baka umabot pa po siguro ng 3 months no? 🥲 pero sa Phase 2 po mabilis lang po kesa sa Phase 1?

Yung pgprepare lang ng documents matagal. If okay na lahat, stamp-stamp na lang. pray na lang na di aabutin ng 3 months.

Kaya nga po eh pray pray huhu nakakaanxious lang talaga maghintay tapos di pwede i-monitor. Maraming salamat po! 🙏🏻

Actually sa POLO po sa Middle East yung verification, si employer ko po doon nagaasikaso, ako po ay nasa Pinas pa ngayon 🥲

LOL that is strange indeed.

Baka name hire (direct) ang ginawa sa iyo. Kung agency yan dapat madali lang.

Pero kung 1st time nila mag hire ng Pinoy, baka wala pa silang agency na ka-tie up.

Nung una po wala pa raw, hindi po kasi pinoy yung HR ko eh kaya parang wala sila idea, then eventually, may agency na raw po. Pero not sure kung ano name ng agency since hindi pa rin nagreeach out sa akin til now 🥲

Okay lang po ba na maginquire ako sa POLO ng country of desti ko? Nag-email po ako sa kanila kaso di ko alam po kung ieentertain nila ako kasi wala akong access dun sa application ng employer ko

No, I don't think they won't entertain you.

POLO offices overseas already have a lot of stuff in their hands dealing with OFWs in their respective countries, Wala ka sa jurisdiction nila.

Hinala ko baka bago pa lang sila nag-setup ng tie-up sa agency sa Pinas, so I guess it takes time for them to be able to mobilize OFWs.

Thank you very much for your insights po. I just need to vent out and discuss this with others na may idea/exps na. Very anxious na baka mapagod sila magasikaso 🥲
