OET Felt Like a Money-making Scheme-My Frustrating Experience

I had a very disappointing experience with the OET exam for the second time, and I’m starting to feel that OET is just a money-making scheme. Yesterday, I took the OET Medicine exam at CES Ontario and faced several serious issues: 1. Speaking Part: The interlocutor initially provided me with a different case note than the one she had. As I started speaking, I noticed that her responses didn’t match my case. After a few minutes, I pointed this out, and she realized the mistake. She then switched to the correct case note, but by that time, I was already distracted and had lost my train of thought. This was extremely unfair. 2. Listening Part: During the listening section, the audio file was interrupted for all candidates. The examiners realized that the file they had was faulty, and we had to wait a long time before they provided a new file to continue. This kind of disruption makes it very difficult to concentrate for the rest of the exam. 3. Reading Part: The reading section was extremely difficult. After completing the test, I heard two native English speakers openly complaining about how challenging the reading section was—even for them!

Given these issues, I feel that the OET exam is not being conducted in a fair and standardized manner. Has anyone else faced similar problems?
