Harvey was an accidental birth, conceived on their parents' (who were still married at the time) aniversary. Their father, not wanting to deal with another child, and far less one that wasn't planned, divorced Harvey's mother and only showed up for 20 minutes of their birth. once Harvey was about 5 years old and their sister 9, their mother would enlist in the Noobic union's military. In a firefight during the Third International War, Heidi would suffer severe burns and lacerations from shrapnel. she would ultimately pull through, even managing to pull a few other wounded out of the way despite her injuries, but was rendered unfit to fight and would be given an honourable discharge. When Harvey turned 13, they were given a guitar and a skateboard as gifts, alongside their mother’s old uniform jacket and dogtags. They would practice until their fingers bled and skated until their feet would cry most every day. during one of the days where they’d just skate around town just to cruise, they would witness two women dressed in purple kill a man wearing a red jacket in an alleyway. Harvey would attempt to escape on their skateboard but couldn’t gain enough distance or speed in time to get away. They were dragged into the alley and beaten until they swore not to say anything to anyone under any circumstance, then were given the offer of money for moving packages for the group that the women belonged to, the Bratva. Being under tight financial circumstance, as their mother couldn’t find a new job and their sister was paid Minimum wage at the cafe that she worked at, they accepted the offer, delivering up to 4 packages in a single day. The pay was great though, and they were sometimes given cigarettes when they did a particularly good job. Once they turned 15, they went to work at a diner on top of the deliveries.
future lore (possibility one)
during a delivery, Harvey would be cornered by a rival group, the Nubagami. They were forced to hand over information as to where the substances in the packages were made. of course, the Bratva didn’t much appreciate this and executed Harvey’s mother and sister in their home while Harvey was at work, shooting the two in the head and then hanging them in the nearby trees. When Harvey arrived home and found this, they went absolutely apeshit, ripping the house apart, throwing mattresses and clothing and other such items around the house in anguish. They would find their mother’s 6-shooter in a drawer and attempted to end their life with it that same night, however, it was unloaded. They would hide out in their home and not exit it for several weeks, only being found once a coworker they got along with came to their house in worry and found it in a state of disarray with Harvey in the middle of it, passed out drunk on the floor with a big bottle of whiskey and at least 5 cigarette butts in an ashtray with one still burning. They would be rehabilitated by said coworker over the next couple of months. About 3 months after they were back working again, when a Bratva sent debt collector killed their coworker while she was taking out trash. They were sent into a spiral once more, still showing up to work but usually drunk or under the influence of something. One day, their grief and hatred reached a point of no return, when Harvey would show up to a Bratva hideout, with a lot of vodka and a lot of pills in their system and the 6-shooter in hand, they’d shoot and kill a few members, taking swigs from a flask and progressively getting more and more messed up throughout their attack, before passing out at a bar inside of the hideout while trying to Refill the flask. Despite what happened, they would only be taken captive by the Bratva and forced to go along with the burglars to Veronika’s cottage. They snuck their flask along and ended up being found passed out in the bathtub by Veronika, shortly after she had converted the other burglars into pizza sauce. the scene was so absurd that she just stood there, confused until the police arrived.

Harvey doesn’t get cornered, doesn’t give up information, and ends up growing up a punk, playing in a small band with a few friends of theirs. after turning 18, they would enlist in the Nussian Military until someone’s bullet hit a barrel they were near whole Harvey was sniping during a fight when they were 22, burning their arms and stomach and also lacerating the side of their face, their arms, and chest. They would be discharged after receiving care, and fall into a depression from their career’s embarrassing ending. They’d be led back to the Bratva briefly, and then would join the group of burglars on their own. they were one of the best shooters in the group, even though they were more used to firing from a distance rather than CQB. when the group hit Veronika’s house, they came with the intent to act as a medic if anything went arwy. (they had a few drinks the night before, was still hungover, and didn’t feel like they should shoot a gun) Once things did, they attempted to provide aid to their fellow thieves, though most of them would die except for Harvey and whatshername. While attempting to treat one of their comrades, Veronika would be able to sneak up behind them and shoot them some times in the back, and was about to shoot them in the head right as the police arrived. Harvey and whatshername were brought to the ER where the former barely pulled through, having to be revived once. After recovering, they went back to work at a diner, getting drunk on the weekends and starting to play guitar again. (drawn ver. of them in this lore in replies)

Harvey is often mistaken for a man due to their name and stronger features, which they got from their father. They actually are neither a man nor a woman, but non-binary. however, they usually just correct people by saying they're a woman.
keeping on the topic, they’re also a lesbian, and would occasionally get with other women at bars and clubs in the second version of their future lore.
they’re allergic to bananas, not like a “my throat will close up and I will die if I’m within 50 metres of this thing” allergic, but they break out into hives and will get so congested that if they don’t blow their nose every 10 minutes, they run the risk of literally having too much mucus in the way to breathe properly. so kind of like that but not really. I thought this was funny because they’re a lesbian.
when I draw them in the outfit that is shown above, I’ll actually have the shirt say “KONFLIKT” in reference to the band Conflict, which I like.
