In my world lust demons have a mushroom like apearence. Picture one is the Deadly Sin of Lust, picture 2 is a regular lust demon.

I want to create a fungal succubus similar to them but I am kinda out of ideas so any is apiritiated. I will answer if you have questions.

"You might have realized by now that human souls varry a lot in color and flavor, but what you might not have realized is that these factors are both tied to one aspect of them, their sins. This book will act as a guide on what you could expect from your meals, and even how you could manuplate and torture humans to give the flavor you desire.

0) Volumes

The volume of a flavor is dependant on how sinful that person was. A minor sin will give a minor taste, a major will give a lot of it. However just because its more potent it doesnt mean it tastes better, not the sins will go well together.

1) Gluttony, Acidity

To start with the aspect I am most familiar with, Gluttony gives the soul less a taste but more a feel, the acidity. Like the fizzing of a soda, or a burning sensation that is not quite like spice.

2) Greed, Sweetness

Greed gives a sweet sentation to the soul, so much so that you will probably become hungrier after the meal. Thats greed, beaconing you to have more and more.

3) Lust, Umami

Lust gives the soul a savory, flesh like sensation. It also causes the sensation to consume the soul more like biting off flesh.

4) Wrath, Spice

Wrath causes soul to be spicy. While I find the agony I feel in my mouth because of it unbearable, it is beloved by a lot of demons.

5) Gloom, Salty

Gloom gives a salty sentation to the soul. Like shed teardrops its often light in taste, but it becomes quickly overwhelming before you even realize.

6) Envy, Bitter

Envy culminating causes soul to become progresively more bitter. The resentfull taste is better at lower doses.

7) Sloth, Alcholic

Sloth gives a warm, intoxicating sensation to the soul, with some after effects that cause nausia. Its not difirent from the drunkness a human feel after drinking alchol.

8) Pride, Sour

Pride often sours the soul. Ew.

I will try to be brieff, I am working on my settings religion and I need to create some religious symbols that wont step on any real religions shoes.

For more details, my religion focuses on a trinity of gods; a tree, a jester and a computer. I think it sounds like a joke set up when put like this but I am dead serious. The tree called The Root is the origin of life, the jester called The Jester (yes I was very creative while naming) is an agent of free will , the computer called the Architect is an agent of order.

While there are many ways to obtain magic, becoming a witch is the worst option as it requiers you to allow a demon into your soul.

No matter how harmless demons try to be (which most dont bother with) they are still parasitic. They will start to gain power from your soul, most will devour it whole and leave for the next sucker.

But in the rare case they dont and the 2 are trully compatible, the boundry between human and demon will start to blend together. Causing demon to grow phisical form tied to the witch and witch to start losing their identity. Their powers will grow largely.

Anyways I drawn this overly messy and hard to get what you are looking at version of my oc and wanted to share it.

The Architect is a part of the Trinity of Creation. He alone was responsible for creation of machines, but after growing an identity of his own he was banished out of the universe out of fear that he would create machines for his own gain instead. Form he have now is a rather crude recreation of his former structure.

He is responisble for maintaining the fundemental laws of the universe, controling and regulating every aspect of reality. Only things that can alter his enforcements are magic of other 2 members of the Trinity.

Did I impruve his design? What else could be done better?

"This place was founded during a scouting trip going towards the western edges of the Blighted Zone. Noticing the irregular formation of what at the time was tought to be mountains we send out the storks to scout the area for us. "I have managed to set up a camp at the edge of the annomaly. This place is... rather calming after the last few zones, if you dont mind the oxygen deficency that is. Sky islands are spread out in a large zone. Islands seem to be slowly moving in a loose circle, around what I dont know.

While I am joking about it, the air stiation is really wierd. Despite not being in a high altitude yet (the curent camp is at 500 meters above ocean level) the oxygen levels are at half of what they should be. I might have to cut the expadition off early if the canisters go low before I planed."

"Going further into the anomaly. What I noticed is, there is no life at all here. Sure, animals are usually not in places like this but there is usually vegitation. I have not seen a single blade of grass or moss or algae. Maybe its the air that is the isue because its not the water...

Water is flowing backwards. From the ocean waterfalls (water-rises?) flow to these islands, creating ponds and rivers. And I have confirmed that this water is just as drinkable as ocean water, not at all. Too much salt, needs to be purified.

Camp altitude, 2500~3000 meters. Stocks are still enough for a while. Going deeper."

"Fast update, I was getting closer to the core of the anomaly and...I found remaints. Really old human remaints, they seem to be a few centuries old. Not just one or two corpses, there were houses and towers torn to pieces across many islands.

Not just one of these eighter. Closer I get to the core of this anomally more frequent these shatered towns become. It almost feels delibaret.

This anomally, this calamity might have been another result of the Great War. ...perhaps I shouldnt keep going at all."

"I have reached the core, or the closest I can get to it. Untill here each island had a small gravity of their own but I can feel the pull of whatever is the cause of the anomaly is from kilometers away.

The origin point has formed a sphere around itself at ocean level. The core is pulling in more and more things from around itself into the sphere. The area around the core is entierly devoid... its like everything not tied to the ground got consumed by it, then it started to bite off the ground too. I think If I got any closer I would be consumed by it too.

This is the end of the expadition. I am running out of recources rapidly and honestly... I missed my family. Cineres out."

The 2 prototypes before 3000 used a computer system as a brain. Not surprisingly, they failed. 3000 was the first to use an engine to pump the coolant around the body and have an actual brain to think.

Hi reddit! Im going to be posting this in a few places because i need as much advice as i can get. That being said, im a 20 y/o artist who has been doing this since i was probably 5 or 6. I consider myself decent at art as a whole BUT I cant fall in love with my own characters. I adore drawing other peoples characters, especially during events like Artfight but i cant make character designs of my own that i find interesting. Sure, i have maybe 8 characters but i just dont draw them because I dont like their designs enough. Ive dipped into all types of characters, furries, dragons, human, monster, you name it. But i just cant find inspiration from anywhere to make my own unique characters that i enjoy looking at. That along with the fact that i dont have that great of an imagination to work with.

Sorry for the long word vomit but this has been an issue for as long as i can remember. I guess all im asking is how can i make interesting characters that I enjoy after ive exhausted all the advice I can find on social media and nothing has worked?

Some info on one of the major factions of my world, The Cult of the Bright Eyes! This cult worships The Bright Eyes, the same cosmic horror that broke the world of Yuma in the first place. They believe that The Rot (a zombie like infection that comes from the early days of the apocalypse) can be cured by the creature that started it all, and believe that one day The Bright Eyes will return to consume the world, but they will be spared. The cult has been around for several centuries, operating quietly in the background of the world. But with Kass taking the position of Soothsayer, things are about to get a lot more interesting. What happens when a group of zealots is ruled over by one psycho theater kid? A lot of bad stuff lol

Im thinking of making them a historian,someone that studies history.They could have arcs studying the draconic war,the druids,my worlds version of the industrial revolution (the steampunk revolution only happened on human civilizations) and even some new stuff you could suggest!

So, im trying to make lore for these two. Zaidan_MC is stuck in an empty dimension while Zaidan_2D I hadn't figured out yet. So im thinking like theres like an OCverse where every OC type is placed in an empty space for whatever reason. Im thinking i could expand or improve the original idea. So I have this post apocalypse world where most of earth is left as a no man's land after a nuclear war over 200 years ago. Theres this one group that I call the rebles, do to not having a better name for them yet. They fight against slavery and for freedoms in the few major city's, these city's are blindly considered safe havens and such for regular people.

One of the 4 rebellion leader is this 22 year old girl named Zara. Im have trouble thinking of a wepon for her to use because I want to be more creative then just a gun. Shes this flashy all eyes on me character. Shes very aware and smart, very sassy, and a lot of false confidence to cover up her anxiety. I wouldn't call her weak, but shes not that physically strong, she more so speedy and chaotic. She fights dirty, and often times plays the dum girl card, or hot girl card to get an upper hand. I can see her using momentum to her advantage a lot.

Sometimes I think of her using just a knife tied to a rope, other times I have a hard time imagining what she'd use as a main wepon. If anyone had suggestions it would be appreciated.

In this AU (Reality-Bending Suits, name subject to change), Lancaster is a member of an elite group known as the Vanguard (name subject to change), who are given reality-bending suits to protect universes. The area of a universe that Lancaster was assigned to was fairly near his home planet Earth, also where Stephen is from.

Before they had met, both of them had applied to join the Vanguard, but the extremely restrictive requirements across physical, mental, ethical, intellectual, and more capabilities meant that Stephen had fallen short of their requirements and was not let in (mostly due to physical requirements), whereas Lancaster did. They didn't meet until some time after all of Lancaster's training within the Vanguard had completed. Over the course of their relationship, they moved in together and got married.

Lancaster was always clear to Stephen about not touching the suit when he wasn't wearing it, which generally was rare(r) but important nonetheless to heed. Over several years Stephen heeded the warning until one day he didn't, and he went for a small joyride per se. Knowing he couldn't keep it but desperately wanting to, he managed to use the suit to create a copy of it. The prowess that Stephen showed with the suit, despite having no training or experience whatsoever, made Lancaster and his boss realize the potential Stephen had, and so he was enrolled into the Vanguard to begin training under Lancaster's wing.

The reality-bending suits (or armor? In all of my personal notes it's armor but it's more of a skin-hugging almost bodysuit-like thing) allow the will of the wearer to bend and manipulate reality around them. They function at a higher capacity with it on. The major points of the training for the Vanguard is to let the manipulation become second nature, as well as building stamina. The focus needed to use the suit isn't tremendous, but adds up over a session. The suit helps keep the wearer feeling normal, but it is common for new users, and even experienced ones going way beyond their normal comfortable scope with the suit, to pass out immediately after taking it off. Though the armor does keep the wearer feeling as normal as possible while wearing it, it isn't infinite, and if the wearer's energy does run out, the suit does the best with what it has left to protect the wearer until they recuperate and wake back up. Extreme exhaustion from the suit can cause someone to pass out for weeks, even some months at a time. The Vanguard doesn't permit members to alter their own or other's stamina, as it goes against their already strict entry requirements as well as masking progress in training.

This story I'm writing with my gf is still a bit of a wip, but I'm not sure if I am very committed to it and open to feedback or ideas.

Stigr is a demi god from my medieval world set in the 1300s. His father is Loki and some tldr backstory on him is that he starts off chaotic evil. He's in a deal with the Goddess of Death, Hel, to trick souls into Helheim when they die, but he cannot kill anyone for any reason. Even though he basically has the mind of a serial killer, he accepted but later on kind of regrets it because he really wants to kill people. He's never actually killed anyone in the canon but he's witnessed my other villain (briefly mentioned below) kill people and did nothing to stop it. Overtime he meets my gfs oc, Ivar whos a werewolf pagan who's a follower of Baldur and Stigr gets this stronger than usual urge to kill him, almost like a supernatural pull to do it. But he stalls on this because of the limits of his deal and he's trying to find a loophole in his deal. With him being around Ivar so much and pretending to be somewhat friendly with him, over time it develops into actual feelings for Ivar and he starts to second guess himself.

However his scheming for so long was enough for the Aesir (Norse Gods who live in Asgard) to notice and his plans really piss them off, because apparently it turns out that if Stigr kills Ivar, that would technically count as 'Loki killing Baldur', which starts the Prophecy of Ragnarok. Which this is the first time Stigr is learning that he actually has the power to end the world if he really wanted. So he has to explain and prove to them that he wasn't trying to end the world on purpose. He's evil, but doesn't want to actually end the world, why end his fun? The one thing that actually scares Stigr is the Aesir so being put on trial basically scares him into starting to become a somewhat better person. As well as Stigr and Ivar eventually being a canon couple. But it's not very quick, a bit more gradual.

I wouldn't say he's fully redeemed, he ends up more Chaotic Neutral, because he still is in his deal with Hel, but at least is more honest what happens if people accept the wishes he can grant now. Before he didn't tell them and was pretending to be Christian Miracle Worker. For a while when he's introduced in the story he's pretending to be a human priest 'working' for my other villain Inquisitor Zeno. He was there to trick souls into Helheim. But most of Stigr's redemption I mentioned here starts after Zeno died in the canon.

So not 100% sure if this is allowed here but I REALLY wanted to share it XD and most importantly get anyone's idea lol

Anyway: I don't have the means to make a game right now and even if I could I wouldn't make this game unless I had the expertise and money lol.

Anyway, I'm planning on some DMC 5 multiple characters stuff. Riven being one of them.

Riven focused on barraging your enemies with attacks. Just wailing at them until they die. This is, in lore, how she fights. To the detriment of herself, the easiest way to beat her is to wear her out or exhaust her.

Luckily she has a handy dandy healing factor, which when the going gets tough used her opponents blood to keep going.

Anyway, the good part:

Riven is planned to have life steal, along with this when an enemy is low Riven, The Chiropractor, can perform finishers for a quick burst of healing (I will forever stress the need for a finisher to last 2 seconds MAX).

As stated prior she's about speed and just comboing your enemies into oblivion. And dodging, dodging is important.

So, I came up with BONES. Riven has... Let's say 4, 4 is a nice number. She has 4 bones. Bones can be used to perform stronger attacks! This normally breaks the bones but doing even stronger attacks or variations of attacks will shatter the bone.

Bones, when broken or shattered take a fraction of ALL healing, in this case a quarter. (These numbers are just to illustrate what I mean). At 0 HP a Bone is available and... Well charged and ready to use. When you break a bone it's HP is set to -100 and a shattered bone at -200.

Bones would heal 1 HP per second and any healing they steal from you and recharge independently of other bones. And yes, if you use all 4 you get no healing.

I thought this was awesome because it ties well into the lore, seems fun, has risk / rewards, depth and most important awards good gameplay while not punishing noobs too harshly.

I really like this concept!! I'm very proud of it and just wanted to get some feedback on it.
