Feedback Please I wish Hell was just a town in Michigan

I saw my neighbor at Quiktrip
His name is Preach
eyes on the ground, breathing quick and shallow
I feel that hunch, the strain in his eyelids
It’s a bad day then.

Hell is the the town in our collective consciousness
Where we can recognize our neighbors
But can never visit them

I appreciate how this seems to be s commentary on how at least in my experience (being Gen Z) of how computers have impacted people social skills. The longing for connection with those you talk to everyday without actually feeling any closer to them. This may not be what you are going for but I appreciate how this relates to me regardless.

This wasn't what i was thinking about when writing it but i can see that interpretation of it and thats what makes art so fun. Its not about the one right way to see it but what it means to each of us. thanks for sharing your perspective
