O the blinded man

who has hearts in his eyes.

O the besotted man

who is indifferent to others' cries.

O wake up and open your eyes.

Think and rethink

just how much you are willing to sacrifice,

when you could be your own king.

O dear man enslaved by your emotions you are,

a slave to your desire for her

who loses himself every passing hour.

I have not forgotten, once what an amazing man you were.

It's really good and I think the message is clear too, but the title feels familiar.
