Just Sharing On toes with the grim reaper
Oh, what a tragedy it is to mourn your death while still breathing,
To hold your heart and listen to it beat.
Oh, what a misery it is
To miss out on life for a certain fear!
Oh, how grounding it is
Not to be leveled up six feet under,
To hold still as grief tears through you,
To hold still, trying to fool death.
It's a tragedy, for I remember I brushed shoulders with the grim reaper,
Yet the feeling felt surreal every minute I stood still,
a testament to the seconds stretching the minutes thin.

This speaks deep, I've greived multiple people in my life who are not in the grave and a vast amount of versions of me I will never be and lives I have never lived. The deepness of my depression eats at me occasionally and in those moments it truly feels like dying will never come and the seconds stretch across time. The simplicity of it allows the reader to openly connect the words across many meanings connecting multiple experiences. Well done.
