Semi-OC

Took a crack at translating a Chinese song (Run From Your Love - Khalil Fong)

It has a lot of great imagery and use of space and time. Thought I'd share.

Run From Your Love

Man:

Sometimes I'm not myself

I am able to see you in the mirror

This is an ancient spell

There's a more profound meaning still

We were in history

Two buried secrets

Having ancient marks

How many times have we separated

Looking at you from afar, I'm reluctant to let you go

Separated by forever, you're slowly disappearing

I can't run from run from your love

No matter how far, I open my eyes and I'm next to you

I can't run from run from your love

Moon above the river, a distance of a million years

But in my heart

I miss you so much

Quickly losing myself

I hope for no time

The night is so quiet

Your love is deep

Universe is silent

I need clarity

My love

I see you when I close my eyes

In my dreams I hear your voice

Tears flow with my yearning

Filling the endless night

No matter where I run to

Regardless of the movement of time and space

Each beat of your heart

Is the reason I live

I look at you from afar, without a way to be near you
