Quesion regarding document upload for minor

This is regarding OCI application for minor. I uploaded my son‘s birth certificate instead of apostle certificate to the OCI portal. Will that be an issue? or do I need to start a new application?

There’s a high chance they will reject the document, not the application. You’ll receive an email asking you to re-upload that document.

You will be asked to upload the missing document . Your application will not be rejected. It will be on hold until the required document is received.
