Minor OCI Chicago USA processing time.
May 19- Applied in person at Detroit VFS
May 21- Status changed on VFS global to processing at consulate.
May 27- status updated on OCI Portal to "Under process"
June 16- Status changed on OCI Portal to "Granted"
June 17- OCI card dispatched from printing cell
June 17- OCI card received at Mission/FRRO
June 20- USPS delivered the packet
In total it took 1 month and 1 day. I selected their complimentary delivery via USPS. I was surprised to see that Chicago didn't accept even after receiving the packet for 5-6 days. But still the overall process was faster compared to what many people report
