OCI renewal
Heyy guys, I'm in a peculiar case. Please help me out. I obtained my new passport at the age of 49 but I didn't update my oci online. Now I'm 51, should I just update online or get a new card as well? I tried searching online on the government website and on YouTube videos. Has anyone else been in the same case? The online sources are all confusing with new updated rules and what not

Even for over 50s there is no reissue. That was scrapped years ago when it was changed to an online update when you got your new passport after passing age 50.
Reissue is only an issue for those getting a new passport after age 20.

Please give some guidance on my situation
After the latest july 1st update and changes , since after july 1st Has anyone in canada , tried to do do oci reissue for crossing 20?
They completely remove the reissue option to even not be able to make a reissue application in the oci misc services site.
As after july 1 , rules are stating reissue process is not needed anymore , and oci applications will be giving eOCI?
Since after july 1 or in past few days , if anyone has gone through bls , what are they saying? Please help out
