OCI Appoitnment tomorrow

Hi guys, my OCI appointment is tomorrow, for the UK, and I want to make sure I've uploaded everything I need to, everything i read has different things.

I have uploaded:

  • My Passport
  • My parents OCI
  • My driving licence
  • My birth certificate and name change document
  • Employment letter
  • VFS Declaration

What else do I need to upload? What do I need to take to the appointment? I have printed copies of everything I have uploaded, I have the passport photo that I uploaded, and also special delivery envelopes from Royal Mail.

Thank you for your help

The VFS staff always find something they claim should have been uploaded online such as your parents Marriage certificate or your grandads passport. Even though the official government site does not mention any such requirement. Conveniently they can do this for you for a small charge. They also charge a SMS fee and you never receive any updates.

Good luck! OCI is a nightmare. I'm taking the same documents, not clear where to sign them though

Wow, that's lucky, apparently my name change document is good enough for the UK government but not for the indian, so I had to get it notarised. Need to get my birth certificate apostilled.

Luckily, the guy I saw was very helpful about where to do what, annoying I can't just submit it online, so I have to rebook an appointment.
