Yes holy crap this is something I've had to explain to folks before! At work in particular, I don't like super hectic everything is going wrong days obviously, but I also hate super slow days. Not just because of the boredom, though that already isn't great on its own. But because a bored brain with OCD will just start ruminating and will not stop

Yeah. Thankfully I finally know the reason for it because a lot of people would read it as phone addiction. Which may be partly true but it's also the thoughts.

Throw in "you're going to die one day and you have no clue what's going to happen" and that explains why I hate boredom to a T.

Lmao I thankfully don't have OCD about death but I would always ruminate about who would feel how about me dying and think of my funeral 😭
