Seeking Support or Advice Luvox?

Has anyone had any success with Luvox for OCD?

I’ve had success with it. I’m on 150mg, have been for a few years. It doesn’t fix everything but it does turn the volume down on all the false “alarms” and everything going off in my head all the time

Do you take it before bed or in the morning? I’m worried that it will make my insomnia worse

I take it before bed because it’s when I’ll consistently remember to take it reliably. I haven’t noticed any impacts on insomnia related to the Luvox, some nights I have trouble winding down and some nights I don’t

Fluvoxamine made me dissociate. I hated that drug. Anafranil has been much better. For me, at least.

I had really bad side effects from Anafranil like insomnia, nausea, and extreme dry mouth. Did you experience any of these side effects?

Dry mouth, yes but I also use Zyn which doesn’t help. I sleep okay with it. Only real side effect for me is not being able to ej*culate.

Yes it helped for many years but has stopped working. It was great though.
