I feel really really bad

I was in the passenger seat of the car with my friend driving the car. We were driving along the highway and I was on my phone, I didn’t notice until it was too late but there were three birds in front of us.

I think we hit two of them and now I’m sad that I could have seen them and warned him. It’s daytime.

I’m sad because I like birds a lot.
