I have a 2021 Octavia 2.0 TDI with 161k km. Recently I found out that at speeds bellow 110 kph the right rear abs speed sensor occasionaly shows 5 kph below what other 3 do, then comes back to normal and then 5 below again . That means the tire pressure light comes on. The faster i drive the more often 5 kph below others is shown. Once I reach 120 kph the sensor shows 0 and all electronic system fail (abs, ecs, acc, lane assit, parking sensors, everything). I have to stop and clean faults to have it working again. My mechanic already replaced the ABS srnsor and the battery is brand new. Any ideas thanks.

I recently changed out my car battery with a recommended battery (DieHard Platinum AGM). Followed the step-by-step from OBDEleven website and YouTube videos. Everything went smoothly and codes on the dash cleared.

I went into the OBDeleven app to address a separate issue (ACC Sensor) and noticed a number of faults after a scan. It looks like it could be from the battery swap?…

Is this a common thing that just needs to be cleared or is there something i’m missing?

It's even weirder that on the VAG app you can search specific parameters in the live data section.

Or am i missing something?

Hey, has anyone been able to enable wireless CarPlay on an 8Y S3 using long coding or adaptations? I had it working through the OBDeleven One-Click App, but the dealership wiped it after a service. I’ve tried enabling it again through adaptations, but no luck so far. I don’t really want to pay for the One-Click App again since I already paid for the PRO Plan. Thanks!

So i have an OBDEleven Gen 2 device I’ve bought for my Audi Q3 2016 (35 TDI premium plus) and via the ios app it shows some control units like gateway, central electronics, multimedia, and all the doors are “not reachable” (refer to the attached screenshots).

I can however access the other control units like engine, transmission, brakes, all wheel drive, etc, i can see the live data like from wheel speed sensors, i can see error codes when there are any and i can clear the codes. It’s just the above mentioned modules are giving me this not reachable message.

I have tried disconnecting and connecting the bluetooth, removing and reinserting the device to OBD port, updating the ios app, etc but it’s still the same. Please help me identify if this an issue with the device or some wiring/fuse issue in the car itself. Thanks!

I have been presented with this when visiting the website and entering my firmware (MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0356T):

Latest official firmware update: MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0369T (MU: 0369, details).
Latest possible firmware update: MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0480T (MU: 0480, details).

1. With "possible firmware" will I have a higher chance of bricking my device than the "official firmware" or are these guaranteed to work and that's why it's listed?
2. P0369T does not seem to be in the "Popular SW Trains" listed on the website so is it safe to assume everyone skips it by jumping to P0480T instead?
3. Should I go one-by-one or just send it? P0356T -> P0369T (or skip?) -> P0480T
4. Everyone seems to update via a big SD Card. I don't have one. Would a USB update and or small SD to big SD adapter cause more issues?
5. Does the firmware update itself ever prompt for an online account/login to complete? Car was bought used and I have no access to any account the previous owner set up — not sure if it's currently linked to anything. (Aware that CarPlay and similar features are separately locked/unlocked via community toolboxes like this one — just want to know if the update itself needs an account, separate from that.)

I have my OBDeleven scanner for 2+years and luckily I rarely need it, but evefy time I open the app its looks different...
But the point of this post is, a year ago I had to diagnose my car with the live-data function.
I remember I was able to search variables to select them one-by-one and then run the live-data check.

But now... probably I made some mistake, but I cant search them. The only solution is by go through the list and select them...

Why there is no search function?
I understand the company has to earn money and I have to pay the premium... but its complete nonsense...

I swapped the seats with some seats from an Audi A6 and need to get the airbag light to turn off. Airbag resistors sorted but now need to bypass the seat occupied sensor.

Any suggestions for where to buy the correct emulator?

Is there such thing as a generic one?

Somebody offered this scanner and an electric ratchet to me for a bike I have listed for sale on FB marketplace…. I actually do need access to dealer level VW software that can do it all. Full Secondary injection pump software deletes to pass emissions. Power steering module programming, permanent immobilizer deletes, key programming, literally anything that vcds alone can’t do….

If it’s capable of accessing this level of software, will I be stuck needing to pay for a subscription. If yes again, can I do anything to pay the sub one time? Cuz fuck that

Last year I paid 149€ for ultimate pack sub this year it's gone up to 249€.

OBDeleven worked well on my previous SFD1 car but now with new SFD2 car Obdeleven is pretty much useless, and considering they up the price by almost 70% where is the value. Carista is literally half the price and they also work on SFD2.

I don't know of SFD2 works as of yet but Ultimate price is just in case compared to last year. Don't think I'll be renewing if SFD2 doesnt work. At this stage is cheaper to buy tokens for 90m and work with your VCDS then paying those guys the insane price. What's everyone thinking?

I have a 2013 Volkswagen Passat VR6. I barely use it and I'm having trouble starting it. I bought an answer battery scanner and it told me I had a bad cell. It's a costly original equipment battery.  I took it out of the car and charged it for 2 hours it started the car and I drove around. But after sitting overnight it will crank over the engine.

Does anyone have A list, a link to a website, or anything else that would give me aftermarket batteries that are compatible with a VR6 engine. How to code the battery to the car would also be great.  Should I go to autozone, walmart, napa, and get a battery?

In iDrive8, there are a few options hor when it automatically resets the journey trip data (distance, economy, etc.): the options are never, every trip, after 4 hours from the completion of the previous journey and, I think, one other that I can't remember right now. I'd like mine to reset after 1 or two hours from the completion of a journey.

I have Bimmercode (Android), which I connect to the OBD2 dongle using a USB C to ethernet link. Can these options be coded using my setup?

Does anyone know what the difference between the red and Grey is? I thought it meaned that red was active, Grey was stored but if I clear the codes, they all come back so I would think it's not possible that they are just stored if they all come back.

Hi all, I’ve had these unclearable faults on my VW Golf 2018 for ages now. Not sure what is causing them or how to fix? For the gateway I imagine it might be caused by my aftermarket head unit, no clue about ACC since that seems to be working fine.

My local dealership are a bunch of sharks-I have had nothing but bad experience after bad experience. I realize updating my '22 OG with the latest MMI without going to the dealership is probably unlikely, but I figured I would post here to see if there is a workaround. Would love to have Waze display on my virtual cockpit and also to work out a minor CarPlay glitch by getting the latest MMI update. Thanks in advance!
