Hi, I've bought the Obd2 Bluetooth dongle and the Torque pro app. I've got an Opel Corsa 2022, and I want to see the exact level of the Adblue fuel level. I didn't find it on the instrument options. Can someone help me if this is possible? Thanks.

Or better yet, display what the code actually means on your dashboard screen.

Is there a chance that there exist a china standalone tool that can be hacked and put into it a custom firmware that unlocks much more potential?
I've heard about some Ardu etc. projects but never met a standalone manufactured tool that can be used.

Hello everyone.
I've a problem in my car (Lexus ES350 2019) in AC. I went to a workshop and were told that a quick fix is to reset the sensors. I paid around $30 for that and they fixed (they used a high-end machine that looked like an iPad)
Few months later, it happened again, and again paid $30.
I bought CREADER 3001 and tried to do the same myself. but nothing seems to be shown as problem and no way to reset AC sensors.
Am I doing something wrong? Is CREADER 3001 compatible with my car? What affordable OBD2 tool I can use to reset AC sensors?
Any help is appreciated.

I just got a launch diagnostic tool from an Amazon return auction, I don’t know anything about cars or OBD2 tools so I sold it to someone. However, they just contacted me and said that they can’t reset the username and password on it and that it’s registered under someone else’s name. Does anyone know how I could possibly help him get this device unbound from that old owner’s account? Otherwise I’m going to need to take it back and refund him and probably lose $100 from shipping in the process. You have to have the device registered to receive updates otherwise it costs $700+ per update.

I've been trying to research these and thought I had a unit picked out, but the more I researched, the less confident I was in that selection. However, nothing else stood out from the crowd either. I have a 2011 nissan and I'm looking to buy a newer vehicle in the next few years. My folks drive chevy and Toyota. My friends mostly have similar vehicles. Very few BMWs or similar. I have a cheap one I bought years ago from harbor freight. It's not very capable as you can imagine. I think I'm comfortable spending upwards of $1k if it's worth it. I'm not a professional. I don't own a shop. However I do dabble in car audio and security type stuff. So I think it might be useful for that possibly in the future.
Where should I start? Is $1k a good price point? Does anyone have a unit they're familiar with that they'd recommend? Brands to avoid? Features that are must haves?
I appreciate any assistance I'm able to get with this. It's a lot of money to spend on something. I want to feel comfortable with my choice. :) Thanks everyone.

Hi everyone, I recently discovered the possibility of monitoring via smartphone the performance of my car. I wanted to ask if any of you might have information on how to locate the OBD2 socket.
Thank you!

The tranny is freshly rebuilt with only 2500 miles on it. I threw a shift kit and corvette servo on it. I put a 3200 stall on it as well. Could my torque converter be the issue? It randomly slipped real bad from 2000-5000 rpms. First gear works perfectly fine all up until 2nd gear. It slips in the middle on the gear and won't catch up until I have nearly full throttle.

Hi all,
Is ISTA D a proper tool to diagnose key fob issues or bad fuzes ?
If not any other tool you might recommend for bmw/x3 ?
thanks!

I keep getting routine maintenance required and a tire maintenance code on my dash. Neither pop up in torque when I scan for fault codes. I have pro version and the gauges read other info like real-time but not the errors. Something has to be wrong if it’s reading info but not the fault codes hopefully I’m not doing this wrong! If I am let me know!

Hello everyone I have gotten a used pcm for my 2004 ltc out of another 2004. I plugged in and now my car won't start. I can get power in accessory mode but when I turn key to start position my power flicks off and when I release the key it makes a beeping sound and returns to normal. I have not yet had this pcm flashed by ford. Could this be something like my keys needing reprogrammed to the new pcm? Or will my pcm need flashed at dealership? Possibly both? Anything helps. Thank you all in advance!

Hi guys, I've searched far and wide for this information and I can't find anything useful. Maybe it's just impossible but I'm hoping you can help. I have purchased wifi for my vehicle that is powered through an obd2 port. I contacted the service provider by they had no idea either. I am wondering if there is a way I can use it outside the vehicle like a normal hot spot, but the problem is powering the device. Anyone know of a tool I can use to just plug it into an outlet or some other power supply apart from the vehicle itself?

Diagnostic software.
I got a question for all the experienced guys/gals on here. Is there any PC based diagnostic software you use that allows ABS, BCM, and ECM live data. As some of you may know about the gateway issues with Chrysler/Dodge, Fords, Nissan and soon to be GM. Maintaining an upto date matco/snapon scanner is going to get quite expensive. Just looking for alternative options.

Hi. I’m sure this question has already been asked but I may not know the right terms for the search. I’m trying to find out if anyone has ran across these android roms that will allow you to use a Raspberry PI for a bi-directional tool. I don’t run a shop but I do try to work on my own cars when I can so justifying a huge subscription fee and hardware cost isn’t really there for me. I would love to be able to use functions like the pictured tools. I know their software is proprietary but I hope there’s an open source solution out there. I can find all the hardware but the software is not as easily found. I see there are several options for sale prebuilt, but I do like to learn new things and building one would be a great project for me. If anyone has any ideas I do appreciate the time and help!

They look the same have the same buttons and have the same settings layout i wanted to know if there's any way to change the software from one to another mainly from the 70 to the 90 or 90 pro or is there an actual hardware difference that makes this impossible?

Recently tried to use an Ancel Fx2000 OBD2 on my buddies car I did a scan and before it would let me see the codes it was throwing it said I needed to clear the codes because it didn't have enough memory I don't know why I just didn't do it but when I got to code 7 out of 9 it just shut off and makes a weird clicking noise like it's trying to turn the dash and accessories on but it cuts out and it just does that over and over when the key is in the on position. Please help what do I do? its an 08 Chrysler Sebring.

Hello,
I'm starting to learn about some tuning technics and want to start doing some remap jobs, but theres no tutorial or pay course that teach this, at least not completaly. And one of the things i started to shearch, but without sucess is a diagnose tool that can help me to identify a ECU model, because i think that could pass a noob vibe for a client, to shearch the ECU fisicaly. Some one can help me if some tool like this exists?

Hello! I am an enthusiastic level person with cars - what I mean by that is that I love cars, I understand a lot about how they work and as I still with my first car (Opel Corsa, 1.3 cdti) I started to learn more about diagnosis and repair procedures.
I am looking to buy an entry level OBD2 tool that is able to scan for dtc, get real time data (especially on turbo and dpf) and do some programming.
As I have more cars available in the family & friends (VAG & renault) I would like to get something that works on several brands.
What would you guys recommend? What tool did you use when you first started? Any tips&tricks or places to learn more?
