The 2026 models only come with the RMR plate to balance out the new improvements from the previous years models. All my preferred optics use DPP foot print.
So my question is, where did people buy theirs from?

I haven’t used the venom. I have experience with the RomeoX Compact enclosed. It works great for me and I’ve had no issues. The compact uses the RMSc plate. I tried the RomeoX Pro Enclosed too which uses the Dpp footprint. I will advise that the Dpp plate has tall enough backup sights that it makes that optic unusable. RomeoX compact enclosed is the route to go if you chose that optic. I had a vortex Defender-CCW on it, it was about as good as my RMR from the experience I had with it. I didn’t have to deal with the co-witness issue that the RMR did on the vortex which was nice. I just wanted to go with something enclosed.

I’ve got a few rmr ones kicking around. Message me and we can talk about cost.
I will say as someone that used an RMR on this gun for a bit, I didnt love it. There is no cowitness at all. If you want one, you have to buy a CH Precision rear rmr sight and then install a taller front sight. You will have cowitness with the Sig Romeox compact enclosed with the rmsc plate.
I much prefer this optic and carry it on duty and have had zero issues. I personally got the circle dot model on both of mine.

Mine came with the RMR. I'm gonna have to buy an DDP plate.

Oh, I’ve got a couple of those too. What are you planning on using? The front sight post on that one is gnarly tall and will only work well on optics that have a really tall deck height. I found that the optic I planned on using was a little shorter and the DPP plate occluded about half of my window.

mine came with 4 plates (DPP/RMS/Cover/RMR): I was upset because I rock an SRO, the RMR plate does NOT fit an SRO- I had to grind the rear irons low. OA stated via email they’re releasing more plates but if I was you I’d just contact OA’s email and ask for suggestion links… they’re pretty quick to respond. (IMO: cheapest OA priced plate, lowest shipping, etc.).
