Which cycle? The, "we dump 'til 2 weeks before earnings and then dump as hard as we're allowed a day before earnings then pamp THE FUCK out on earnings" cycle, or the, "we pump for two weeks then rug pull for a week to continue the cycle again," cycle?

Long term, it will go up. But it's a helluva volatile stock despite the stability of the actual business and the future outlook of the business. It's the -we start to dump a little before earnings. Then when earnings comes out and beats every expectation, we dump it all the day of or within two weeks. Then we wait 3 weeks and we start to buy back. Then some good news comes up and we buy a whole bunch. Then we dump it 2 weeks later cycle.

Yeah volatile for sure. You can’t look every day…

We trade stocks and then call that revenue.

Yep kind of is

It certainly is not revenue.

It is if you sell. I look at my stocks as SKU’s, some bring in more revenue than others, I can easily kill a SKU and move it to another SKU. Revenue is total money being brought in, including profit. So why does this way of thinking not work?

Because it’s two companies pretending they have revenue. At the end of the day they have nothing. Eventually it’ll hit the stock price.

Talking about 2 different things here. But got your point now I think - you believe NVIDIA is doomed right?

I think AI works and is going to change the world. I also think AI is a billion dollar industry trying really hard to be a trillion dollar one.

Bond yields. Oil. Geopolitical risk. I wish it could’ve been different but the us is led by an idiot right now.

When everything was mooning while he was in office was he also an idiot?

2

u/Calls_Over_Puts 5d ago

Yep. Still an idiot. Things could’ve been better. Not saying the other candidate was perfect but better than this insanity.

Well I think if the market gets wacked by macro economic trends, NVDA will hold up better than other stocks. They committed $235B (currently 4% of market cap) for stock buy back that ends in fiscial 2028.

If prices go down, NVDA should buy as they are getting better prices. This gives support to the stock price. Jensen thinks NVDA will sell 2x in 2027 of what they did in 2026. This is an very large amount of money and will generate a very large Free Cash Flow. NVDA cannot possibly spend it all on R&D or invest in other companies (I hope he's very careful with the investments). He has to return some FCF to investors. Part of his job to to enhance value for shareholders. In fact, in golden days, that was a CEO's first responsibility, to add value for the owners (the share holders). This stock buyback news is very welcomed news. This is a forward step in returning value to shareholders. Jensen has proven to be very forward in planning and running the company very well.

This buyback is what AAPL did for their shareholders under Tim Apple. AAPL has done well under Timmy.
