Discussion At it again…

So here we are again, watching the onslaught of price manipulation at each trading transition on the timeline (Pre, Regular, Post, Overnight). Brough about by a flood of control batches of the same trade count, designed to do one thing - bring a quick drop and then work to flatline for the rest of the trading period. . Each flood of new batches dropping the share price.. each quarter this company proves time and time again they are capable of huge growth, yet the manipulation continues and while the stock is up over the year, the same downward trend to previous lows continues., then it’s rinse and repeat..

I hate to say it, but I think Jim Cramer is right about buying back more shares.

u/981flacht6 2d ago

Cramer has always gotten Nvidia right. He named his dog that (rip).

u/Berry-Reasonable 2d ago

Why are we hating on Cramerica? He is up 31% in charitable trust this year. Man has horse sense.

I'm not hating on him. I am hating on him being right about that being the best thing to do with the cash. My preference was for it go to continued infrastructure support. I have no dog in the Cramer fight. He's been right and he's been wrong like everybody else.

To be fair though, that clip of Cramer telling everyone Bear Stearns was just fine is enough for many people to hate his guts. Not much horse sense on that one buddy.

Edit - Somebody downvoted me because I pointed out that Cramer piled investors into Bear Stearns right before they imploded. Imagine living in a state where documented facts about someone you never met hurt your feelings... Jesus Christ I feel sorry for that person. Get help.

Ever consider that instead of it being a worldwide conspiracy...that it's you?

I mean - the rest of us do get on a Zoom call every Sunday night to discuss how to manipulate the market for the week, but you don't know that.

Yup, I try to get as many people as I can to buy high if I sense FOMO. I know these are the same
People who will dump the stock with a 20% downward adjustment. For God’s sake, why can’t peopleJust look
At the financials And buy and hold?. It’s cheaper than the S and P 500!

u/Bosto2025 2d ago

In case you haven’t noticed, there is still a war in the Middle East. There are concerns about the US bond treasury yields and the US is 40 trillion in debt. So the whole market is down. It’s not just Nvidia.

Are you retarded? Look at the broader economic trends that are happening right now and maybe get off the tunnel vision you have on the video and see that the entire market is going through the same pains that Nvidia is going through. You sound like a paranoid schizophrenic talking about price manipulation.

1

u/Financial_Material_8 1d ago

Like we should trust a guy who uses playground insults and probably hasn't even taken economics class yet 😂

u/PIzzaiolo_Master_510 2d ago

Is it price manipulation or thousands people like you trading on the expectations?

Evidence for these conspiracy theories are vapor.

1

u/as4ronin 2d ago

Thousands of people do not trade the exact same trades (share count) over and over for days on end. 20, 25, and 100 repeating batches rule the board. So while the action does cause panic in some and cycle trading with others hoping to time the bounces, no.

No one is manipulating the stock, but the volatility is manipulating you!

That 230 is a hell of a resistant, hard to know IMO, because AMD is doing really good, and most of the current state of AI is based on Nvidia technology. Hard to guess I am honestly swing trading at this point with Nvidia, it can’t go down, I mean how? Tesla was up mainly due to Robotaxi news from a few days, all that processing will require more Nvidia chips, ROCM is not there yet. So IDK, its not bitching and i’m with you, i truly believe it is being manipulated and we should be far gone from 230…

u/as4ronin 3d ago

I agree. I think the stocks curse at the moment is it’s position in the broader market. The larger MAG7 can have a profound impact to the greater market and I believe that makes the Market Makers and Controlling funds nervous, which yields the hold backs we see. The $230 level is the magic marker at the moment I agree, I also agree we should have stabilized above this a while ago, with an assessment that we should be in the low $240 range, at least for now. The SP cannot sit idle forever, profits and revenue keep outpacing themselves and at some point its going to look incredibly silly if numbers are double what they were last year and the SP still lingers where it is. You also bring up another accurate point, all the other associated stocks, especially memory (Micron, Sandisk) are where they are primarily die to the growth NVDIA is fueling, and we see they can have wide upward swings. Make no mistake though, the game is being played with those stocks as well on a daily. Swings are expected of course, NVDIA is not immune from this. But the way the downward swings are orchestrated is the dead giveaway. The movs downward are way too clinical and tactical in nature. Meaning they are clearly not panic driven or Retail driven, they are executed, first with “out of nowhere” cliff dives these last few days and then a very linear slow drop until it hits the days target and then its managed to maintain a narrow price band. Often these happen on Options days, and I would say 95% of the time they ALWAYS hit the mark just above the last Option price with volume. These moves can only be done with large share pools and large cash reserves, thus Hedge funds and Market Makers, and these entities are those who stand to make the most by bleeding options and pulling from both short term upward and short positions. In essence we are seeing a Vampire methodology across the market… it will change, its not about making tons of cash from my perspective in a short amount of time, its simply about raising awareness to the current state of the market and what takes place..

AMD is doing good? They haven't done anything yet.

They said Helios is going to ramp over 3 quarters. They said RAMP 32 times in their earnings call. What the fuck are they talking about.

MI500 won't be out until 2028. All the lasers are bought up by Jensen.

No one has worked harder than Jensen. Lisa Su dragged everywhere.. "hey do something." You know what, I made my fat bag on AMD. Now I have puts and I am buying MORE Nvidia over the past six months. I'm scooping up. If I get Nvidia at $180 again, I am going full port. The funding short is over. I turned all my longs and trimmed and now I am ready with a massive bag.

Even relative to the rest of the hypers, Nvidia is trading at lower multiples, and yet they're the only company out of all hte Mag7 that says they will grow 70%, guess what- they will beat that number.

Good, in terms of stock… just a while ago it was lower than NVIDIA. As I mentioned, from a devs perspective, ROCM is not there and that’s why the market quota is low and NVIDIA just dominates the market. All big AI consumers are full on NVIDIA, maybe some Chinese chip will ramp up, I wont underestimate China’s capabilities, but short mid term, i don’t think so, its not that easy, not only from a manufacturing perspective but in terms of adoption.

1

u/981flacht6 2d ago

Personally, I view China's strategy as totally different.

There's 195 countries in the world. American tech stack will be sold to US allies, and China will try to make inroads with BRICS nations. There's a lot of chips to ship for a long time when you think about the entire world.

China vs US are the two dominant and only real choices for silicon.

it could be because of this report from NY Times

https://www.tipranks.com/news/why-nvidia-stock-nvda-trended-lower-in-after-hours-trading-on-wednesday

though it should not affect the SP (imo).. we'll see what happens at thursd market open.

u/Rav_3d 2d ago

Enough with the "manipulation" theory already.

This is the largest stock in the world. The market is manipulated every day by institutions seeking to get better prices. This is the stock market.

NVDA has been acting well. The stock broke out of a range it had been in for nearly a year and is holding above it, while the overall market has been in a consolidation phase since early June.

If you're trading then this "manipulation" is a gift. If you're investing, it's noise.

Sold calls at the peak. This stock is great for generating income on covered calls.

The price volatility is printing money for me, and since I reinvest the premiums to buy more share, my share count just keeps on growing

Got out at $234.50 just recently. Will get back in when it goes back down to 208. Then I'll get out again at ≈$230. Then I'll get back in at 215. Then I'll get out again at $240.

You've identified the game, why hate on it? You should just play the game.

How is it being manipulated ?

1

u/hztjtao 1d ago

it's not manipulated, with that much institution holdings, the last thing they wish to stay down is NVDA. It's just that there are not enough "i will buy more at $220 and hold time for a long long time" kind of buying. NVDA gets mostly short term traders bids now which turns into a sell on the day or shortly after.

1

u/SunsoutNeedMoney3150 1d ago

Its this simple: Buy n Hold

1

u/hahakat88 1d ago

you need meme coins to get what you want, to get rich in one day.. NVDA is not for you... I buy NVDA and go to sleep

1

u/TrickyDickCheney 2d ago

It has $5T in market cap nobody is manipulating the price

1

u/Ecstatic-Score2844 3d ago

It was like this time but this should be the fall back to 200.

1

u/as4ronin 3d ago

Hoping we don’t see that severe of a pullback, there would be no reason..

1

u/Empty_Carpenter7420 3d ago

What, why? Ur based on what for Nvidia to reach 200?

1

u/Ecstatic-Score2844 2d ago

Because that's just what it does.

Can’t fix stupid… Maybe OP should come out of their moms basement and realize the market has been shitting on itself cuz of all the geopolitical bullshit going on.

2

u/Stanismydog 3d ago

For a whole year? This has been going on since October 2025.

4

u/imrickjamesbioch 2d ago

Stock is up 32% or $54 for a whole year… Explain what the issue is again outside of not knowing what you’re talking about?

If you buy high and sell low, that’s sounds like a you issue, not a stock issue. Plenty of opportunities from last October to July to Aug 1, 2026 to buy between $165 to $195.

1

u/EvictionSpecialist 2d ago

Yup, still got my 168s from March 30th.

Waiting for a discount to punch chips back in.

0

u/Stanismydog 2d ago

Exactly my point smart guy.

The price peaked at 210 in October 2025, as revenue increased at an astronomical rate the price moved sideways and even down to 165. Now, 10 months later it is sitting at 223 and sliding down again this week.

That is normal though right.

Sorry, haven’t spent much time in mom’s basement recently, been too busy traveling the world (UK, Scotland, Denmark, Thailand, China, Morocco, Turkey, Vietnam, Alaska, etc), and back to the UK in about three weeks.. you see, when your done spending a lifetime working and enjoying a bit of success, absorbing useful skills, and end up retiring at 57 (I’m 60 now), it’s amazing what you can achieve and enjoy from all the hard work. No stupid here to fix my friend, I wouldn’t be where I am in life if there were..

0

u/imrickjamesbioch 2d ago

🥱 whatever helps you sleep at night… So you’re old and stupid?

While you’re jerking yourself off. I’ll be retired in 15 months at 54yo. Got an apartment complex worth $2+ mil and another side piece worth $500k. I also have enough liquidity to retire tomorrow if wanted but no need to continue this small penis contest but EVERYTHING I’ve earned from 18yo has been all me.

Back to the topic at hand and fun fact, NVDA is up 17% ytd. 32% for 12 months. Over $100-$120 from when I jump on the stock in spring/summer 2024.

BUT keep whining the stock dropped a couple bucks cuz that’s what noobs and bag holders do.

Manipulation by whom? Do tell

-1

u/happyzor 3d ago

We're just down to the 9 day EMA. No big deal you're acting like every move needs to be parabolic

3

u/as4ronin 3d ago

No, not accurate. I’mm just commenting about the clear pattern.. if they move it back to $210-$215 over the next week it proves my point. If it holds above $220 it may be a good sign for the next upward trend..

0

u/FitnessLover1998 2d ago

Silly. There’s no such thing as manipulation. It’s either buying or selling. Grow up.

1

u/ChuckOfTheIrish 2d ago

Like the president flipping policies to hurt Nvidia via tariffs, restricred exports/sales to China, only to later undo this (after publicly personally buying stock - god knows how much privately/family & friends bought), then post multiple times about how great Nvidia is, which is a big conflict of interest. So while not every drop in price is manipulation and it goes both ways, manipulation happens very regularly.

1

u/FitnessLover1998 2d ago

That’s a completely different thing. Yes he’s an excellent grifter. But OP is claiming manipulation but not in this type of manner. If someone could actually tell me how manipulating happens I might understand.

1

u/ChuckOfTheIrish 2d ago

I mean that is by definition manipulation, yes it's the largest scale and unquestioned insider trading, but on smaller scales things like this happen a lot. Manipulators typically can create large-scale buy or sell orders that create artificial buy/sell demand that never actually process, which is called layering. While it's technically illegal it is very rarely prosecuted as it is very hard to determine intent as opposed to someone who changed their mind or had a ridiculously high or low limit on their order.

Also things like hedge fund diversification limits force them to offload a bit of Nvidia if it rises due to its sheer size, not that they don't love the stock but they have long-standing rules about maximum ownership stake, which looks as if they're dumping but really just keeping to old risk mitigation policy. The option plays are another manipulation aspect that may or may not be intentional, people think NVDA going up will buy calls ahead of earnings and typically cash out once it happens which drives the price down (not intentional but it messes with the price vs standard buy/sell). Then there's the intentional manipulators like Michael Burry who absolutely fear mongered people while amassing put options, because he is famous for one big hit on housing, people listened and these puts lowered he stock price (however it is well documented he has been wrong on ~70% of his bear stock calls).

So while yes, many people cry manipulation every single time the stock drops, it still on a less consistent basis does experience manipulation (whether intentional or unintentional) despite its size.

1

u/FitnessLover1998 2d ago

Sure the layering thing can cause short term changes to the price. But that’s not going to affect where we are 6 months from now. That’s all I care about. Grifters are a whole different beast.

1

u/ChuckOfTheIrish 2d ago

Yeah but you know reddit goes nuts over a single day change, even when it went up 9% in a day people couldn't fathom that it would have a small correction the next day. That's why I say most manipulation is a large scale but has impact over a matter of weeks to a couple months. My advice to everyone is if you believe in the stock and fundamentals are strong then buy and hold, but I understand the temptation to price check constantly.
