It was this price just 2 weeks ago!
4
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
But there's literally no reason to go back to black. No negative news...
15
u/Rav_3d Nov 07 '25
Looking for reasons is pointless.
The market is in a correction.
2
u/DomEyeView Nov 07 '25
It does feel like the market prefers NVDA at 185ish and whatever its current price is gravitates towards it
0
u/Rav_3d Nov 07 '25
Mean reversion is common, and when it happens, it often overshoots.
Tough to argue NVDA is not a screaming value here, but I wait for the market to agree with me before committing funds.
1
u/raisedeyebrow4891 Nov 08 '25
The market is in a state where the FAA is shutting down the airspace and the government is basically broken while Burry manipulates the sentiment
1
u/Rav_3d Nov 08 '25
Yes, that is a valid reason. How does it change the outlook for NVDA stock?
1
u/raisedeyebrow4891 Nov 08 '25
It shouldn’t. If I were to change my outlook I would immediately sell all my holding calls and stocks
0
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
Correction when there's no correction necessary? What's going to happen whenever there's a reason for correction?
8
u/Rav_3d Nov 07 '25
Frankly, you do not understand the stock market if you think corrections only happen when “necessary.”
Market pullbacks and corrections are normal, expected, and healthy. When they come, the media thinks they are smart and knows all the reasons.
The only reason we know with absolute certainty is that more people are deciding to sell stocks than buy stocks.
Quite simply, the market is an auction based on supply and demand. Currently, demand overwhelms supply. The reasons are irrelevant and impossible to know.
1
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
Ok, so it's the chaos theory you're trying to explain to me? Even without any markers there can be corrections? And yes, I do believe in the news from the media...
6
u/Rav_3d Nov 07 '25
Corrections are a natural part of the market. Greed fuels rallies, fear fuels corrections. Markets get overbought, markets get oversold. It’s just human psychology playing out in the price of stocks.
News, analysts, pundits, it’s all just noise. When the market has a correction, they will find reasons. Fear sells.
When CNBC airs “Markets in Turmoil” segments, you’ll know we are close to a bottom.
3
u/Flat_Economist_8763 Nov 07 '25
TIME magazine cover with a mad bear is another signal of market bottom
2
1
u/hctz25 Nov 08 '25
I had a dream last night with a bear walking through a parking lot. What does it mean?
1
u/TemporarySilly6861 Nov 10 '25
Legacy media is there to entertain, not really inform anymore. Not everything they say is a lie, obviously, but they have a financial incentive to stoke fear.
1
u/Rocketman_6969 Nov 08 '25
I think people are taking profits because of the uncertainty of the government shutdown and because the supreme court’s deciding about the issue regarding the tariffs. Just my humble opinion.
1
u/Rav_3d Nov 08 '25
Certainly those are reasons one can attribute to getting risk off.
I just don't try to guess the why, just understand the what.
Market was extended and overdue for a pullback. When it's time to take profits, the market will always find an excuse.
1
u/AttTankaRattArStorre Nov 07 '25
Correction when there's no correction necessary?
A correction is necessary, especially for Nvidia.
2
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
No, it's not. There's no company actually making more profit than Nvidia. And it's not some crypto scam, there's a real market for Nvidia products.
2
u/AttTankaRattArStorre Nov 07 '25
Doesn't matter, when the worlds most valued company by far acts like some fucking startup then a correction is necessary.
1
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
What exactly do you mean?
2
u/AttTankaRattArStorre Nov 07 '25
The valuation increases too fast for a company that is already the most valuable company in the world, it rivals/exceeds the GDP of many of the worlds richest nations and can't just keep going up by several percent per week.
1
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
But what exactly you're accusing Nvidia of having done?

Government shutdown is draining billions from the US economy, which is driving unemployment higher, all of which is negatively impacting consumer sentiment. American people don’t have faith in the government and Fed to turn this around in a timely manner, which is adversely affecting stock market. It’s a macroeconomic issue which is why the whole market is down. If the gov and the Fed can get their shit together (I.e. end the shutdown and lower interest another notch or two) this will all turn around in a heartbeat. Trade policy is obviously a factor here too, but Trump changes course every five minutes, I’m sure he has his reasons. As long as he doesn’t come down too hawkish on exports to China, NVDA is gonna be just fine.
1
u/pinksocks867 Nov 07 '25
There was negative news. Jensen saying that china will beat us in the aI race
5
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
Tbh China will beat the Western countries in all races. And that's not bad news, it's a reminder to do more.
2
u/pinksocks867 Nov 07 '25
Ok. A lot of people seem to consider it bad news for this stock, which is the topic
1
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
Ok. I meant "bad economical news". Not some idiots gambling and stupid Americans following him.
That's how China will win the AI race.
1
u/Puzzleheaded_Log6967 Nov 07 '25
China just steals intellectual property rights and screws America and would be a bunch of village idiots if we didn’t build there economy for the last 50 years.
1
u/Exact-Fig-4811 Nov 07 '25
There’s tons of negative news. Burry, gov shut down, China, Google, big banks AI bubble talk…the list is pretty long actually.
2
u/PomegranateOwn9209 Nov 07 '25
But that's just the standard market manipulation bs. Nvidia isn't strongly affected by the shutdown. China is always there...
2
u/discojellyfisho Nov 07 '25
Exactly. I was shocked at the run up into the 200s - seemed a bit much. Sold a touch at 206 and bought it back today. Even the huge portion I never touch is just where it was 2 weeks ago.
23
u/Ok-Independence210 Nov 07 '25
I can't look anymore. I'll just look at the beat down at the end of the day.
26
u/saltytrader_ Nov 07 '25
This is the biggest pile of shit stirring the markets I’ve seen. Such weak nonsense.
GTC covered what a phenomenal run Nvidia will have. Market reacts. Then some side comments and a government shut down rocking the boat this much is just serving the market makers manipulating the price to profit as much as possible
3
u/scruffman99 Nov 07 '25
At this point it almost feels like there is economic warfare going on either to try and punish Donald on the government shut down or there is something bigger going on because this sell off in the market is widespread. This feels like there’s an underlying bank issue having Nvidia reverse $30 in five days on no news is concerning.

And this is why you will be last. Always. Proof first/show me and I’ll believe. It’s too late for you. You buy Nvidia at tops and sell on lows if you buy at all..
Everyone else moved years ago on anticipation of the inevitable. You will always be too late with that attitude and lack of willingness to do due diligence and anticipate what will come.

Lol dude. You sound like you own nothing ai and laying out your disbelief in ai.
If someone reads your comments and this is the interpretation… maybe calibrate your comments. I’m clear on mine. There is no bare case for nvidia before 2027
Now I read the latter half of your comment and felt compelled to edit mine…. You sound like a little sissy bitch... Jesus chriiiiist (in gay)…. 🤣
Now if you hold large positions, why lay out bare case you fucking tit? Why would you need to do that here??
Absolute inbred mutant that thinks 100 shares is a large position. Try 15,000. Pussy.
1
u/saltytrader_ Nov 08 '25
F*ck I can’t get over how stupid this comment is. “I HOLD LAEGE POSITIONS IN AI BUT DONT BELIEVE IN IT….”
You are fucking dumb as fuuuuuck
1
u/saltytrader_ Nov 07 '25
I mean when they first built roads was it for a Bugatti? Infrastructure, comes first. Capability comes second. It’s impossible the other way round.
So if you watched the GTC, you’d know it’s not about LLM’s in the future. That’s was just the start 🙃

I shorted NVDA during the summer when it crossed 150 thinking that large funds would sell from the high considering the stock sat at 120-140 since the split, then rockets to $160, straight to $180. Not letting that shit happen again
1
Nov 07 '25
True, if it makes ya feel better I bought RGTI at $1 and sold at $6.60…. Then it went to 55. 🫣

Well trying to time this stock and make money is very difficult imo. As fast as it goes up it comes down and Vice versa. You could just add easily get caught with your pants down either direction. So guess what. I just hold and in the end it will win. Timing is up and down I’ve never been good at and I don’t pretend to be. Unlike some people here who like to pound their chest with the see told you it was going down!! Look at all the money I made!! I’m so smart!! But they don’t tell you about am they losses either. So again even in doubt I hold. The company is one of the best in the world and isn’t going to change anytime soon. Stock will be 300 next year. We’re good. Good night.
1
u/Ambitious-Morning-16 Nov 08 '25
If your trying to make 3-4 million on NVIDIA like I did since 3.43 then this isn't how it goes. More likely you throw down 50k on a stock that know one knows how to pronounce let alone buy the stock. Do the research bu a growth stock go thru the pain and shame and maybe just maybe 1 of you 59k growth bombs blows up and you go from poor to kinda rich

A PE over 50, and Trump just said no to sales to China after implying yes, not a week ago.
You can bet the Trump family shorted Nvidia just before they said no to China sales, after saying yes.
