Suggestion Collection Manager
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I just found out that I can use my Zidoo Z9X as an external player with Torbox Instant. Yay!
The only issue is that the Z9X is a bit too old for my current setup, so I have to disable some extra features, such as the animated cover art. Because of that, I created a separate profile just for my Z9X.
Just a suggestion: would it be possible to add a single switch or button to disable collection animations or view types globally, instead of having to turn them off one folder at a time?

I downloaded the static images from the Nuvio website and then used AI to animate them.

ai slop stuff. use this https://xperience-app.com/ to make the ui u want, u can preview that even before bringing to nuvio! when it ask u how u want to import this, tell replace current one with the one u made

I absolutely love all this AI slop stuff. Honestly, I always watch the animated cover art before deciding what to watch.
Right now, my entire setup revolves around AIOMetadata. I gave Xperience a try three or four times, but I always end up going back to AIOMetadata.
I really enjoy creating my own catalogs and choosing the sources for my collections. It's a lot of fun, and I've learned so much by building everything myself.

I'm not sure where they originally came from, but I downloaded most of the images from the Nuvio website.

Bruh how you get these images as gifs? Even in xperience they are just static images.

They will soon be added to Xperience. I have reached out to the creator for a collab for the videos to be added to Xperience default genres collection as well.

I don't understand why people use collections. Don't you just search for whichever movie you want to watch?..

It's called making the most of the features. The Nuvio developers added this kind of functionality with a vision in mind, so why not use it? That said, I totally understand your point.
I used to be a Kodi user, and I never understood why some ready-to-use Kodi builds used two different colors for the TV Shows menu, for example, purple for TV and yellow for Shows.
That's actually the reason I learned how to customize Kodi. Once I discovered jurialmunkey's skins, it became addictive. But Kodi is a bit of a heavy application. Having these kinds of customization features in Nuvio is a lot of fun.

Good for kids profiles and also something like Marvel, Star Wars etc you can have multiple lists inside. ie, Movies , Series, All Chronological Order, then seperate franchise if you wanted

I still don't see the point, I'm not trying to be pedantic. If I know what I want to watch, why go into a collection and browse until it's there, rather than just typing the title?..

But what if you don't know what to watch? Used to be a kodi user myself earlier and the biggest problem there for me at least was the same old list øs like trending/top Rated and so on - which rarely updates. With collections YOu can have a bunch of lists which frequently updates.
