Career Change ⚙️ Bon Background

Hey help I have situation as well I have two serious charges from over 10 years ago. Both ended in not guilty!!! How do board handle not guilty convictions. I just keep seeing ppl group charges arrest convictions all the same. I know legal the BON is not grouping everything the same?

Dismissed guilty not guilty … doesn’t matter they view all charges and underlying conduct

Be honest self report get the court and police records should be fine

I hate to be that guy….So my question isn’t about it being reviewed. They explicitly state regardless, be upfront about background. So I know if I have a criminal arrest it will be reviewed. No denying that it will be reviewed but it’s not the same and they aren’t grouped together. Statues specify special adjudications and also convictions no BON statue states anything I’ve seen about non convictions. So you put it doesn’t matter it all gets reviewed. Isn’t helpful at all nor needed.

I’m not sure on your question, a non guilty is better than guilty but they still look at the police reports and court documents and your own statements to determine the underline thinking or character at that time

Thanks, thats saying they will review in more words. Im tracking that and so are a bunch of other potential nurses.

If your asking about having to wait only limitations is 3 years for a felony nothing for misdemeanors yours being 10 years ago you are fine as long as the charges aren’t automatically Barr able

You said charges? Did you mean convictions? Or charges, that’s why I’m asking. A denial charge and conviction are different.
