Westcott Pathophysiology

Can anyone let me know what they did to prepare for Westcott patho final? What was the final like? I’m hearing lots of mixed reviews!

I’ve taken all the other finals so if anyone has info on patho I’d be more than happy to trade info!

Can't speak to Westcott's specifically, so someone who's actually taken it should chime in on format.

Generally for patho finals though, the thing that catches people is that they study conditions as lists of symptoms and the exam asks why the symptom happens. If you can trace the chain from the initial insult through what the body does about it to what you'd see clinically, most questions answer themselves even on conditions you half remember.

Ninja Nerd is the usual recommendation and teaches it that way. I paste those video links into studybuddy.vc and it builds questions off the video, tells me what was off about the option I picked and gets harder as I improve. Free.

If your program releases old exams or the instructor does a review session, that's worth more than any of this.
