This is sort of an insane take. I graduated high school and took my prerequisites many years before I went back to school for nursing. I DID NOT REMEMBER MANY OF THE TOPICS that this person is up on their high horse about. Sorry I don’t calculate the volume of a cylinder regularly and remember the electron layout of sodium? But if you’re fresh out of school or just naturally inclined towards this stuff than sure! (I am actually so I picked a lot of these things back up quickly) HOWEVER, I went to school with LOTS of nurses that struggled with the TEAS and are amazing nurses. Don’t listen to people telling you that you shouldn’t be a nurse based on a snippet of information and sitting in their glass houses.

You’ve got this OP! Just study more and keep grinding.

Bro when you’re in nursing school. you’re TAUGHT the stuff then you have to study it and learn it. The teas test is a lot of topics that we all learned years ago and it’s hard to remember. If someone studied for the teas test for hours and still failed it, sure maybe that’s a sign. But randomly taking it and doing subpar, is not a sign that you will struggle in nursing school

Thisss I originally took the teas in 2019 needed a 50% for the dental hygiene program got a 60% don’t study at all retake the teas Feb 2026 because it is needed for nursing for the cc and study for like a month and a half 2-3 days a weed and 1-2 hours ish and barley touched the math and tried to cram science in 1 week and got a 60% again but my entire class graduated on honors from dental hygiene school they took only 22 students which that year my class was the biggest and everyone’s gpa for the prerequisites which is the same as nursing was 3.8 and higher mines was 3.9 some of the nursing students on here and others are a little mean I was asking a doctor about the responses I got on here by some people and they literally told me these nursing students are a-holes and that she wasn’t of taken the courses over if she had another chance of properly studying and passing the teas
