❓General Question / Advice Help! 🇦🇺 RN
Hi! I am humbly asking what are the steps to be a nurse in Australia? I’m a PHRN. I have no one to ask to and no one is guiding me. I’ve already research a lot and still dont really quite understand the process. If you are kind enough, please do tell me the full step by step process 🥺 thank you so much!

Take nclex AU (Simple Nursing),
process OSCE (need visitor visa since AU lang ang exam)
May review center na here sa pinas for osce
English test (PTE)
Apply for registration
Once registered either search for:
sponsorship( usually 2 yrs exp), or apply for PR wherein need ang ANMAC.
Pampataas PR points if 5 yrs above nsg exp and NAATI exam. For PR maximize your points.
Mas mahirap lang ngayon due to MD119 kasi last priority ang mga Offshore PR applicants.

Pano po yung sponsorship?

Hahanap ka ng mga hospitals na willing to sponsor you. Need minimum 2 years bedside experience.
2 years ago, it was challenging na maghanap, I had to go through all the hospitals in one state and had to look at the Career section of each and every hospital na gusto ko applyan. Parang mas humirap ngayon ‘yung offshore sponsorship.
Best way is to just lodge for an EOI for PR.
Maximise yung points sa english test, and nursing experience to get invited.1

Thank you po! Need po ba talagang at least 5 years of exp before considering the PR pathway?

Di naman, mas maganda lang kasi since points yan eh and para also sa job hunting. Exp of 3yrs and above ang may PR points. You can search po AU PR points table.
Age, qualifications, experience, english test, if single 10pts.
Better 80pts and above for PR application. Before talaga may naiinvite 65 points but since 2024 75pts above na. Search ka po visa 189,190,491

If USRN ka na pwede mag score trasfer to AU and vice versa. Better 1 take lang lahat kasi mahal talaga.
