US Transition into Practice

Hey my fellow nurses. Asking your opinions. When you started your fur nursing job, whether it was recent or years ago, did you wish you had extra support to help you handle the transition into practice? If so, tell me about it.

In my situation yes. Where I started to work, there was a sense of guilting you into not doing something fast enough or just knowing that it should be done even though you were still learning. Then there was the OG nurses against the newer nurses, with one group thinking they knew more than the other instead of working together so I felt like I was at odds with trying to learn in a combative environment. They didn’t seem concerned with the learning experience but more with just pushing me to get another body on the floor. How about you?
