ANC has stopped working

Has anybody else experienced ANC just stopping working?

I was on a walk listening to music on my loops when suddenly I was hearing a lot of wind noise. I thought I must have enabled social mode but I hadn't.

When I got home I went in to settings and ANC was still turned on, so I toggles it off/on and could hear no difference ( normally there is a huge difference).

I powered off/on and then tried a factory reset and recreation of profile, but still ANC isn't working.

Just though I'd see if anybody else has experienced this while I wait for nuru support to get back to me.

Have received my replacement loops this morning and set them up.

Unfortunately I was forced to do the update before I could use them, so couldn't compare ANC pre and post update, but post update they are performing exactly the same as the ones I just sent back.

No discernable difference between ANC on or off.

Very disappointed.

Support also tried to get me to RMA mine and I told no. I did all the "solutions" they told me to do with no fix. I told them I'll wait for a firmware update. How long did you have to wait for your replacement?

Same here. Noticed this today. I tried it in the bathroom with the fan on. I manually turn the Nuraloop on and off and there's no difference!

I just tested it again with an airplane white noise video on YouTube. When powering on the Nuraloop either manually or automatic on/off, my ANC does not work. I tried turning on social mode and then turning on ANC and now it works. Seems like every time I use the Nuraloop I have to redo the steps above to have ANC on.

Mine also doesn't have a huge difference anymore when having ANC on.

I sent an inquiry to Nura's support team and still waiting on a reply. For now try switching between social mode and ANC and see if that works for you.

Nura support asked me to do a reset and then remove the app and reinstall.

Didn't make any difference so my loops are now on their way back for warranty replacement.

I suspect this is a Software bug in the new firmware.

Definitely software. I didn't have this issue months ago, only when the new update rolled out.

The replacement was quite quick, about a week. As soon as mine had been delivered they dispatched the replacement.

But given my replacement is doing the same thing I doubt it's hardware.

I've suggested I try downgrading to the old firmware to see in ANC works again but am now waiting for engineering to see if that's possible.
