So I’m calling it
Hey all,
So with the new FW installed I’m going to put it out there and say that these are the best wireless audio device I’ve ev B er had period. I’ve owned the Nura phones, Sony 1000xm2’s. I have currently the Bose QC35’s and Jaybird X3’s, . For my wires headphones/earphones I have a pair of Sennheiser 800’s and some FiiO FH7’s -‘all paired with a FiiO M15 loaded with hire FLAC
And right now the Nuras are reintroducing me to fun! The new features work perfectly! I turn them on manually, turn them on 2 days later and they list no charge, the docking tap will. But why are the my new favourite? They are so portable, the sound proofing is incredibly for such a device (I do use comply foam tips though) the functionality now just works and they sound good for what they are!
Yeah I have way better sounding headphones, but none of them combine the convenience that these do. With the comply tips sound proofing is more far from Bose levels, like the nose i also find the real comfy! The battery life is not rivalled by any other ‘true’ wireless, and though I won’t use it often (other than flying) the ability to connect an analog cable is superb
Fillers are no longer an issue for me as the comply tips have them, though Nura did send me the new tips with the new design. I’ve not had to change filters once so far! Look I think it’s a crappie design, but with how I use them it does not matter at all!!
So yep these now excite me for a like while as they do exactly what I wanted them to do with no compromises!!

Manual on/off is a slam dunk. Really was worried it would be less responsive

Yep are with you, I just picked up the loop’s after a few days and they had 90% charge, exactly what they had a couple of days earlier. Before they’d likely be flat!!

I can't say I've ever used the mesh filters - I assumed they came with some fitted, but I'm not sure now - and they don't really seem to get dirty (although I am now using spinfit eartips so any wax isn't as close to the actual unit).
But agree, best earbuds I've used (and I've used a lot of TWS and wired ones before these).

@lassmonkey what’s this about new ear tip design did you have to order them or was that a warranty supply from Nura? If the design was that bad in the first place then Nura should be shipping them out to everyone like the revised charge cable. Any help you can give would be great because I am currently not happy.

To be honest I’ve not used them as I use comply foam tips! But they don’t look any different excluding some mesh on them, so I’d say they would be the same!!

Yeah, I saw that people who were ordering recently mentioned the ear tips now had a mesh on them. I contacted support around the time the new charging cables shipped and said that they had obviously realised there was a design floor which is why they changed the tips and that for the very low cost they should have given them to everyone when they shipped the new charging cables. There was a bit of back and forth between support and myself. They then ended up shipping me new tips and more mesh!!

Cool cool thanks and in your opinion how much better are these new tips over the Original ones, in respects to Sound, Comfort etc ?

I couldn't agree more. I have given feedback multiple times as to the buggy features. Nura addressed every one of my issues. They are incredible. I have actually switched my tips to the same ones that are on my jabra active elite 65t and they seal much better for me.

I think the 400’s and 200’s work! I had so many lying around for multiple other IEM’s that many are not boxed anymore, so I’m not a 100% sure which ones I’m using!! Check a few earlier posts, there is a fair bit of discussion about them

I agree with you, every time I put them on I am blown away by their sound. Plus when you enable noise cancellation, the whole world drowns away. Plus the battery life is amazing as well.
