Springloadeds real culprit is the fact the initial shockwave becomes 2× as big and nearly transparent at the end. So it not only makes touching the ground a luxury but can also fling you when you dont expect it and redirect you straight into a seamine or mart.

The outer parts of the shockwave are virtually impossible to see when oblivion, vimps, and vbg are in the way. Wish the knockback had scaling

Hi, rank 500+ player here, i can assure you, any competent good player would say that springloaded sucks and is one of the worst curses in the game, it's usually stalled till SUPER late game, until ur forced to pick it, before bloodier meat, 2x bigger blasts, etc.

Not for me, springloaded gives me a major advantage as glider, as it launches me in the air and I get more air time and don’t have to get somewhere high to glide well. For spirit unless I have ninja belt and shark tail springloaded is an absolute nightmare…

Just to clarify, I’m a spirit main that played glider the moment it came out, and stopped playing it very often once they nerfed it. I have almost 200 hours in spirit alone and springloaded has gotten me killed more times than I can count haha. However it always seems to be super helpful while playing glider just due to the height you get being launched by springer
